chapter 6: cats and... trees?

(y/n)'s pov:

i was supposed to sleep all day today, but i couldn't.

"what a pain!" i angrily mumbled getting up from my bed. i checked my phone and it was 8:38 pm. it's pretty early.

"i'm going on a walk. anyone want to join me?" i was leaning on the door frame to the 'cat area'.

kuroo, yaku, and lev were playing with their  toy volleyballs, which they love very much, and kenma was playing with his toy video game console away from the energetic 3.

"going once... going twice..." both lev and kenma started coming towards me. yaku and kuroo were too busy playing volleyball.

"i could only carry one of you. decide who's going to walk." lev was the first to jump in my arms. "sorry ken i guess you have to walk. because of that i'll let you sleep in my bed." i crouched down petting his head.

i put on grey sweats with a black hoodie. it was pretty cold outside. i headed towards the door and put on sneakers. kenma followed behind me. i wasn't too worried about kenma being on a leash, our cats are well behaved.

i decided to walk to the nearest convenient store to get snacks. while walking lev was getting snuggled up in my arms, kenma was walking behind very closely, i felt bad.

i crouched down, " i can't carry you in my arms but my hoodie pocket is big enough for you, so decide my child." i whispered. he gladly crawled in my hoodie.

kenma was a small cat with yellow/orange and mostly white fur. he fit in my pocket with enough space for him to curl up.

kenma rested in my hoodie pocket with his head sticking out on one side. i then proceeded to walk.

the night sky was covered with stars. the moon shined brightly lighting up the cold dark night.

the convenient store soon came to view. pets weren't allowed so i repeatedly told kenma and lev to stay still and i wouldn't take long.

i quickly made my way in and bought a whole bunch of snacks and drinks. i went to pay for my things and headed out.

i looked to where kenma and lev were supposed to be. kenma was nowhere in sight. oh no.

"lev?! where's kenma?!!!" i panicked.

lev started walking so i followed. he stopped in front of a tree. i looked up and saw kenma in one of the highest branches. how did this even happen?!

i called kenma's name while holding my arms out hoping he would jump so i could catch him, but he didn't budge, he was too scared. i tried jumping but i was too short. "what am i supposed to do now?!"

bakugo's pov:

i was walking towards the store when i saw a familiar figure standing in front of a tree. what a weirdo. i decided to ignore it and entered the store.

i bought all the things i needed and left. the figure was still there. i looked closer to where the figure was. it was... (y/n)!

"oh bakugo!" she waved her hand.

"tch," i walked away.

"wait! please! i need your help." she said catching up to me.

"do it yourself, nerd." i picked up my pace.

"i can't. please, i'll give you anything." she pleaded.

i look at her, "fine. what do you want?" i couldn't say no to that face. wait what-
