Chapter 13: The Hotel

The next week

October 31 2013

Samantha's POV

Today I started packing for the hotel. I have the weirdest feeling about this trip. I packed a lot of clothes, but even more food.

After I finished packing, I went to the Lynch's house. We left in the van within 15 minutes.

When we got there everyone split up into there rooms.

"Ross and Ryland in a room, Riker and Rocky in a room, and Rydel and Samantha in a room." Mark said. In each of our rooms there are two twin sized beds. I put all my stuff away and I got a text from Ross.

Ross: We are going swimming in the hotel pool in 10

Samantha: ok

I told Rydel and we got dressed. We headed down and the boys weren't there. We set our towels on the chairs. There was no one else at the pool.

"Finally we can relax." Rydel said.

"I know right" The boys finally came down, and without even stoping, they all ran and jumped in. Me and Rydel sat at the edge of the pool with our feet sitting in the water.

"You guys are lame." Riker yelled.

"Yeah" The others agreed.

"So what?" Rydel said. I knew what they were going to do and I honestly didn't care. They pretended to go back to what they were doing. All of a sudden I didn't see Ross and Riker. Oh my gosh, I'm so surprised. I stood up,(to ruin their plan) and Ross tried to pull a move like he wasn't doing anything when I turned to look at him. Riker on the other hand didn't give an eff and pushed Rydel in. I turned back and obviously Ross tried to push me in, but instead I swung around and threw him in. I then just jumped in myself.

"What was the point in that?" Ross asked.

"It was funnier?" I said. He swam over to me and started splashing me with water. Lame. We went on for like ever till the guys decided to have a diving contest. Finally, they all got bored and went back to the room. Me and Ross stayed.

"I bet I can jump into the pull cooler than you." Ross said.

"Okay, go ahead." He walked over to the diving board and jumped a few times before doing a back tuck into the pool. I got on the diving board and prayed to God. I might kill myself, but I'm trying to prove a point. I jumped a few times and did a full into the pool.

"Where did you learn that?" Ross asked.

"I was a cheerleader." I told him. When I was younger cheer was a big part of my life. It always kept me from losing hope. It always made me happy. Me and Ross sat on the side of the diving board.

"You okay?" Ross asked.

"Yeah, just thinking" I told him. It was true. I was thinking.

"What about?"

"Life. I guess."

"If you need someone to talk to I'm here." He told me.

"Okay. I think I'm okay now. I don't know."

"Maybe this will make up for it." I didn't know what exactly he meant. Then I knew. He quickly leaned in to kiss me; I let him do it. Our lips moved together. Now I have something else to think about, great. Did he love me like that? (What up song reference) Maybe he's just being nice. I don't honestly think with the way he's kissing me he's just being "nice".

Ross's POV

I did it. I kissed her. I've always like her since that time we went to the mall. We kissed for a little while when I heard someone walking. We quickly pulled apart.

"Uh, did I interrupt something?" Riker said.

"N-no we were just talking." Ross replied.

"Okay, mom and dad wanted you to come back to the room."

"Okay we'll be there" Riker walked back.

"What did we just do?" I asked.

"Well we just kissed because of me, then Riker came down and I had to lie to him, and now here we are feeling awkward." Idiot.

"Do you like me?" I asked.

"Do you like me?" Ross asked.

"Yes." I said smiling.

"Then yes." He said.

"Maybe we shouldn't tell anyone until we know we really are together and stuff." I said.

"I agree." Ross said. We stood up and walked to the hotel room in silence. Did I just make the situation worse?

Riker was in jeopardy and I almost cried😰but then I voted ten times.😂 anyways I hope you guys are forgiving for me never updating. I'm just very busy with school, dance, cheer, etc.
