After I search through the crowds of people, I have determined one thing. Sean is not here. So I decide I should go to the only place I know where to get too.
Sean's cabin.
I walk away from the crowds of people, and take the path to his cabin. Actually I do know how to get to the auditorium as well, but I'm pretty sure I'm not supposed to be in there right now.
Sean's cabin was offset from the other ones. Most of the cabins were grouped in huddles together, but for some odd reason his was near the Snack Shack on its own. It made it easy because I knew which cabin to go too.
When I walked up on the cabin's porch, I opened the door and walked in. Five pairs of eyes fell on me when I walked in.
"Is Sean here?" I ask looking around at the guys.
"No," says one of them with short brown curly hair.
"Great," I say throwing my hands into the air. I mumble some things to myself and walk out of the cabin and down the walkway.
"Hey!" I hear someone yell from behind me. I spin around and see the guy with the curly brown hair. He is jogging trying to catch up with me.
"You need something?" he asks standing next to once he got caught up.
"I don't know exactly what to do..." I say holding out the 'o'.
"Did you already sign up for the events you wanted?"
"Yeah," I reply to him.
"Then you can do whatever you want until the assembly tonight," he explains to me.
"What can you do?" I ask him. I look around and the only thing that I see is the snack shack.
"Well, there is a river, a three man swing, foam pit, waterslide, and I mean there are all kinds of things to do," he tells me.
"I'm about to go to the foam pit, you want to join me?" he suggests.
"Sure," I reply.
He smiles and leads the way and I follow behind him. I look at him out of the corner of my eye. His hair is short, brown and curly, his face narrow, and is tall. He's not a bad looking guy at all.
"I'm Nate by the way," he tells me as we start walking up a hill.
"I'm Emily," I tell him.
We reach the top of the hill, and there is a little wooden structure. When we walk through the front of it, there is a foam pit with a little diving board in front of it.
"I have never been in one before," I say as Nate climbs the ladder of the diving board.
"They are really fun," Nate says standing at the edge, and starts jumping. He does a front flip and lands in.
"The only problem," he says, his voice straining. "Is that it is close to impossible to get out."
I laugh while I watch him try to get his feet through the foam pieces. He lays on his back out of breath.
"This might take a while," he says letting out a little laugh at the end.
"Well I might as well try," I say climbing the ladder.
I stand on the edge of the board and look down. I want to do a front flip so I start jumping a little bit and then land in.
When I look around, I realize I went a little too deep in the foam pit. My whole body was covered.
"Hey Nate?" I ask.
"Yeah, hold on," he says laughing.
I see him grabbing pieces of throwing them off of me, and a minute later my head is visible.
"One question," I say. "How the heck do I get out of here?"
"That's always the difficult part," Nate says laughing.
