Niall and the rest of the boys were in London, doing an interview with Popsugar to promote their new album. You decided to stay at yours and Niall's shared house to clean it up a bit and hopefully catch some of the interview on TV.
You turn it on and have it play in the background as you wash the dishes and tidy up the kitchen.
"So, one direction, it's lovely to see you all again! Lets talk about the basics. What made you come up with this album name?"
"Well I believe Niall had the idea; didn't you mate? Why don't you tell the story correctly" Liam says.
"Thanks for stealing my shine for a bit Liam" Niall says, then turning to the interviewer "There's not a long story to it, but after so many names have been thrown out there, I just thought of 'FOUR' in all capital letters and being underlined. It just made sense obviously because we've been together for four years and it's our fourth album."
After you finish doing your cleaning, you take a seat on your couch and watch the rest of the interview.
"Were there any songs that were written of/about any of your girlfriends?" The interviewer questions.
Liam goes on to say how the boys helped him write 'illusion' for his lady, but the interviewer doesn't go into it at all.
"Now Niall, you've suddenly gotten quiet...is there any reason why?" She says again.
"Aw he's blushing!" Harry says teasing him.
"And why is that?" She asks.
"Well the fans obviously know that I have a girlfriend, but there's something else. I mean it's not a big deal to them probably but it is to me" he says.
You're very confused as to what Niall is going to say next. He never really mentioned too much about the songwriting process and who or what the songs were about.
"There's a song I wrote for my girlfriend (Y/N) called Change Your Ticket. No one except our crew and staff know about this. Not even her" he continues "I have no idea if she's watching this right now either" he says with a little laugh.
"And what is that song about, Niall"
"Well it's basically about the times where our girlfriends do come on tour with us, but not for the whole time. They'll come for a certain leg or maybe even a few shows in the area. All we want them to do is stay so we want to 'change their plane ticket' and have them be with us longer" he replies.
You're so shocked right now and can't believe that Niall actually wrote a song about you. Everyday when he came back from the studio, he would be quiet for a bit until you loosened him up. Now it all made sense to you.
After about 10 more minutes, the interview wraps up and everyone says their "thank yous" and "goodbyes."
Once Niall gets home, you immediately engulf him in a bone-crushing hug.
"What was that fo-"
You interrupt him by smashing your lips onto his.
After you pull apart you ask "Niall why didn't you say anything about the song you wrote for me?"
"Baby I didn't know how to bring it up. I thought telling you a few weeks after the album was released would be easier" He says looking defeated.
"Babe I'm not mad at you at all if that's what you think! I'm beyond happy! I love you so much" You tell him, pecking his lips.
"I'm glad you're feeling this way (Y/N). I love you way more" He says, returning the favor.
