everyone was staring. everyone.god, it's like they'd never seen a british person before.
or maybe they'd just never seen a person this eccentric strutting through the corridors. you'd truly never be able to guess that alexis eastwood had only been at mckinley high for a good ten seconds - because by the way she composed herself - it seemed as if she'd been causing havoc in the corridors for years.
"fishnet tights. denim skirt. red crop top. leather jacket. blonde hair with pink highlights. wow. i don't even think i could pull all that off. the lady has guts."
wise words from the fashionista himself: mr kurt hummel. though he didn't have time to stare for long, because not only was jbi headed his way on his usual quest to harass everyone until he ended up being punched in the face, there was also a slushie facial incoming. poor kurt.

"teen misfit! welcome to mckinley."
the principal's voice was ridiculously loud considering there were only two people in the room, and instead of trying her best to show some sort of respect towards him, alexis pulled a disgusted face, leaning forward so she could rest her chin on her palm - holding up her head with the slightly shaky elbow that was planted on the arm of her chair.
"yeah, thanks." she nodded, her voice laced with sarcasm, which the slightly crazy old man was clearly far too dim to pick up on.
"you are ever so welcome miss eastwood. now, i would like to remind you that your place in this school is permanent. america is your home now! unless your behaviour worsens, you will remain here until your senior year, and then you will be given the option to return to the land of the 'eng'. any questions?"
so don't piss off any staff, don't piss off any students, and she'd be able to stay away from the hellhole that was her home. sounds easy enough.
"nope, no questions. now if you don't mind, i'm off to dream about the land of the eng." a smug smile was draped across her face while she stood up, and after slinging her bag over her shoulder, alexis made her dramatic exit.
"absolute imbecile." the girl huffed, shaking her head during her descent down the hallways (which, by the way, were proving harder to navigate than she originally thought). how did such an incompetent man get such an important job? and was that really the highest standards that this school could achieve?
terrifiying. absolutely terrifiying.

like i mentioned before, the corridors were quite vast, and so were easy for a student with no actual motivation to get to class to get lost in. alexis ended up in some kind of courtyard, where plenty of students were scattered about. either it was lunch already, or she had just accidentally ended up mingling with the seniors or something - but either way, she wasn't going to let that deter her from finding somewhere peaceful to go.
though most new students would probably be trying to make new friends by now, alexis wasn't a big fan of people, and so having someone whining to her 24/7 was the absolute last thing she needed. she could make it on her own, because let's face it, the only thing that was remotely scary in lima was the strange amount of stds that were floating about.
