Last time:
The other friends at the table clean up for LunchRush and the other cleaning staff, even though they didn't make the mess. Hizashi took Shota's hand and lead him out of the lunchroom to go see Recovery Girl...
Now:
Hizashi was shaking from the incident in the cafeteria, and Shota can feel it from the other boy's hand since they were holding hands on the way out of the lunchroom to go to the school's nurse, Recovery Girl. Without her, this school would crash and burn. She was the backbone of U.A. Shota saw Hizashi was close to tears, but he wasn't crying just yet. It seemed like Hizashi was trying to hold it back. He'll talk to him after their trip to Recovery Girl.
Once they were at Recovery Girl's office, she looked at Hizashi with a concerned look, not a pity one. "What happened to you, dearie?" She asked the sunshine boy, seeing that Hizashi was covered in Kan's lunch. "Some bully from class 1-B spilled his tray on him," Shota explained as Hizashi's face turned red from embarrassment, the tears in those beautiful Emerald green eyes that had cute swirls in them stayed but they did not spill. Hizashi was still holding back his tears.
Recovery Girl sighed, she hated bullies and anything close to it, like any good hero, should. "Alright, I just need your size and I'll go get you a new uniform to wear." She instructs the blonde. Hizashi tells her his size, the Youthful Hero gets up to go get the spare uniforms in the backroom. Hizashi and Shota sit on one of the beds, waiting for her to return with the spare clothes. A few moments later, she comes back with it that was in the boy's size and a bag to put the dirty clothes in. She hands him the items. "Alright Dearie, there is a bathroom for you to change in right over there. Then you and your friend can head back to class, I'll write you two a pass." She told them, Hizashi nodded as he takes the uniform and heads towards the bathroom that she told him to go in.
Chiyo writes the two a pass as Shota waits for his friend to come out from changing. A few moments later, Hizashi comes out in a clean U.A uniform and still was close to tears yet he didn't cry. Shota was worried about the fact of Hizashi was holding back from crying, crying is healthy and good for the body. Crying releases oxytocin and endorphins, chemicals that make people feel better and ease physical and emotional pain. The old lady hands each of the students a pass and sends them off. They thank her for the passes, clothes, and the bag to put the dirty ones in before going back to class. As they were walking, the cat-loving teen pulls his friend into an abandoned classroom and shuts the door behind them. Hizashi was confused with Shota tugging him into the empty room as Shota looked at him with those concerned, black eyes that he could get lost in for days and never get bored from looking at them.
"Um, Shota? What's going on?" He asked him as Shota forced him to sit on top of a desk. "Why are you holding back?" The black-haired teen asked him. "Pff, Sho I don't know what you're talking about," Hizashi said as he didn't look Shota in the eyes, clearly lying to his face. Shota didn't like that Hizashi wasn't making eye contact as he talks to him, so he puts each hand on Hizashi's cheeks. The cat-loving teen forced him to look directly into his eyes. Shota noticed that his sunshine friend had a light dusting of freckles all over his face and he thought he looked beautiful that way. Shota shook his head, 'Come on Shota, it's not time to be gay.' He thought to himself.
"Now, tell me why you aren't letting yourself cry Zashi," The sleep-loving teen demanded the blonde to tell him the truth. Hizashi wanted to look away and deny this but he couldn't. The tears were starting to fall, "I don't want you to think I'm weak or some cry baby because heroes aren't supposed to cry." The hero-in-training cries out to his best friend, Aizawa pulls him into a tight hug as he lets his friend cry in his arms. "I don't think you are weak or a cry baby, crying is a healthy thing for the body. Heroes do cry, Zashi. The strongest of heroes cry, Hizashi." Shota tells him as he comforts the boy as he kept hugging him.
