I watched from my celestial radar as Rose fell to her knees in defeat. Knowing that everyone who didn't cross through the portal was going to be slaughtered and converted into more of the creatures in my army. I pinpoint her location and commanded more monsters to go the their location and kill her. Now everything is complete. The portals are closed, ensuring no escape or help to come aid Rose and her friends. My army from all dimensions now reside here in my world. Best of all, I have the powers of the gods of Remnant. I wonder Rose, how does it feel? How does it feel to know that no one is coming or saving you, no one is coming when you hit the ground? Knowing that you came all this way here, just to fail your one quest? And now not only you, and the people of this world, but the WHOLE multiverse will now die at your hands as punishment for defying the authority of the throne!

Ruby(Resurrection AU) POV

I fell to my knees in defeat. This can't be happening can it?! We've come to far to just lose like this! This isn't fair! We've worked so hard to get here, I'VE worked so hard to get here! TOO HARD JUST TO HAVE ALL THIS SHIT HAPPEN AGAIN! TO LOSE EVERYONE AGAIN!

Blake(Resurrection AU): Ilia...

Velvet(I Awaken AU): Wh-what the hell?

Weiss(Resurrection AU): How did the portal close suddenly?!

I turned over to the hooded figure. He was just standing there looking outward into the streets, the sounds of The Goliaths monsters closing in. I can't fight anymore... I don't want to do this anymore. But I have to, even if our friends and allies died on the other side of that portal, if we defeat The Goliath, the multiverse will be restored. At least that's what has been drilled into my head. Come to think of it, he's never given a solid explanation of why the multiverse will reset when we defeat Goliath.

Ruby(Resurrection AU): Come into fruition, I know! Just tell me what we need to do! And so help me god if you're lying about everything I will-

Cloaked figure(???): I'm NOT lying to you Ruby. And you'll do what? Kill me, you've seen my powers, you know I have much grander knowledge and power than you could ever hope to comprehend!

I hesitated a little, his tone was so authoritative, yet there was a hint of anger, like a teacher repeating instructions to their class.

Cloaked figure(???): *Sigh* I understand this is hard for you Ruby... it's not everyday something like this happens. Believe me I wish I could tell you more about the path you're walking on, but if I do, I break the rules of fate. I know asking you to trust in me is hard, but if you want to see your friends again and your world at peace... you need to trust what I tell you and how much I tell you.

It's so hard to do that. After everything that's happened how can I? Yes, he has helped us, but what about everything else? Is this really the right thing to do?

Ruby(Resurrection AU): Ok... so what do we do now?

Cloaked figure(???): The portal was closed because one if not all of the maidens were attacked by The Goliaths monsters. Causing the ritual activating the portal to be disrupted. We must presume that everyone who didn't cross through the portal will die. The Goliath has claimed the powers of this Remnants gods. He has transcended and become The God King. Any hopes of killing him with conventional weapons or semblances is futile as he is now immortal in almost every way. However if you pierce his heart with The Godslayer the energy of the sword mixed with his powers will create an energy burst strong enough to reset the multiverse. Traveling to his kingdom will not be an easy task, but yet again, no one said this was going to be easy.

Hordes of The God Kings monsters began swarming in from the buildings and streets of Beacon. He's right, no one said this was going to be easy, and we still have a long way to go... but if it means everyone is going to be saved... THEN I'LL FIGHT LIKE HELL FOR THEM!
