"I want to apologize"

I take a small step back, why would [Y/N] want to apologize? What does she need to apologize too?

"What do you need to apologize for?"
We sat on my bed, [Y/N] was starring at her feet, she was sweating was it from running or was it from being nervous?
I opened my mouth to speak when I was interrupted.

"Im so sorry Caesar."
"Why are you apologising?"

I was confused, [Y/N] has done nothing wrong that I know of.

My train of thought was interrupted by [Y/N].

"I'm sorry for being so unfair to you"
She looked so worried as if I would hate her for not talking to me that often.

[Y/N] P.O.V

Why is he so silent? Am I annoying him? Yes im only wasting his time, I should've just stayed in my room and played video games.

I cover my face with my hands.

"Im so incredibly sorry, Im a horrible person-"

"[Y/N] stop, you don't have to apologize for anything."

Caesar lifted up my face out of my hands so I would be looking at him, he gave me a soft smile, i've never seen him smile like this, it feels comforting.
Oh god i've been staring at him for a quite a while haven't I? What do people do in those sitcoms when they apologize? Oh dear.
I can feel my cheeks heat up slightly.
They hug! People hug each other when they apologize!

I get up and spread my arms out while I mumble out 'Im really sorry'.
Caesar looks at me like if i'm crazy, he probably think im dumb.

"What're you doing [Y/N]?"
"I-I uh don't people hug when they apologize?"
I hear Caesar giggle and he finally accepted my hug after laughing.
"What's so funny huh?!"
"There she is! *giggles* Its just that a week ago you wouldn't even think about touching me, so if I even attempted to hug you I would've probably ended up with a black eye."

I pulled out of the hugged and sat back down on Caesar's bed.

"Hah yeah...A black eye"
"I dint mean it as a bad thing!"

He sat down next to me and gave me another smile, I wonder what this blonde headed idiot thinking. Of course he means it as a bad thing!

"I mean it as in you know what you want if y'know what I mean. You're a fierce girl who wont take anybody's shit, I look up to that greatly [Y/N]"

He ended the sentence with a small smile that just seeing it makes my heart speed up and my cheeks turn hot.

"I'm uh heading to my room, if you uh want to play video games or something just knock."
I quickly speed out of Caesar's room making sure I close the door behind me. I stood in front of his door for a few minutes, I had to go over what just happened. Why is my heart beating so fast, he just complimented me?

Caesar P.O.V

She seemed in such a hurry just now, maybe I weirded her out.
I still can't believe she hugged me.

I rub my chest as if I missed [Y/N] weight being on it, even though the hug was less than a minute long it felt like hours had passed by, it was an incredible feeling.
