Chapter 9 ✨

[Y/N] P.O.V

I take a step out of the shower and cover myself with a [F/C] towel I look in the bathroom mirror and start brushing my hair.

Jeez why do I have to go for groceries it's so boring! At least Caesar is coming with me. I finish brushing my hair and leave the bathroom and go to my room, I open my closet to see what's something I could wear

I put on my clothes and grab the money Miss LisaLisa gave me to spend on groceries, ok im not missing anything now all I need to do is wait for Caesarino.

My door slowly creaked open showing JoJo trying to get in my room to play video games, after I saw it was JoJo trying to use my ps4 I grabbed my hairbrush that was nearby and chucked it at him, "I told you already to not use my stuff without permission idiot!" "SORRY SORRY, I wont do it again!" he said as he held his hands up to say 'yo please don't hit me' "You better not come here again mister!" I said as I shook my fist, we both chuckled and soon after JoJo went back to his own room.

I have been waiting for a while, I should probably tell Caesar we have to go soon. I walk up to Caesar's room and open the room, I can hear his shower is running so I scream from the other side of the door: "HURRY UP CAESAR WE HAVE TO GO SOON!" in response I hear "OH I'M SORRY I'LL HURRY UP" I hear him shut off the shower so I leave his room to let him change in peace.

A few minutes later Caesar came out of his room. "Ight lets go" I say heading down stairs.

*Time skip to when they're in Venezia cause why not*

Caesar P.O.V

We were at the supermarket [Y/N] went to get milk while I was looking for the fruits and vegetables Master LisaLisa  told us to get, "Oh Miss LisaLisa told me that if we had any money left over we could spend it on ourselves" [Y/N] told me while putting 2 milk cartons in the cart "Oh we could maybe get some stuff from a nearby bakery or go to a restaurant" I point out trying to think of something we could do together, ever since I realized I liked [Y/N] I've tried to do something with her and this is the perfect opportunity.

We eventually finished buying all of the things Master LisaLisa told us to get, our change was about 12 euro, this is definitely not enough to go to a restaurant, we can probably afford two coffees at a cafe,maybe share a milkshake? No that's too cliche.

As I was walking deep in thought thinking of something we could do [Y/N] interrupted my train of thought "Are ya thinking on what we should do with the money?" I feel my cheeks slightly heat up, Is it that obvious I like her? "Well I don't want to give back the change back to Miss LisaLisa either, we could buy a bunch of candies, no we could probably afford like five at most, maybe go to a fast food place, what was that one thing you said earlier Caesarino?" she was putting even more thought into this than I was "A bakery?" [Y/N] face lit up "Yes, a bakery! We could buy some strawberry jam and slather it on to some yummy bread!"

We went to the nearest bakery we could find, it was quite a big bakery with a lot of glass displays showcasing cakes, cupcakes, brownies, pies and other pastries. [Y/N] was ecstatic she was like a kid in a candy store, that analogy doesn't really work here does it? While we were checking out what we could buy [Y/N] kept eyeing the more expensive treats like cakes and pies and the she would say 'If only'.

After a bit of debating what we should buy we settled on a few brownies, after a bit of walking around trying to find a place to eat some of the brownies we ended up at a water fountain, the water fountain I met JoJo to be exact. "This is the water fountain me and JoJo met." I pointed out  "Did you kick his ass?" "Well of course!" I said proudly "JoJo told me he shoved a pigeon in your mouth" my cheeks heat up "HE DID NOT!" [Y/N] laugh "So he wasn't lying huh".

[Y/N] P.O.V

We took a seat on the water fountain eating our brownies, I rested one of my hands on the water founded and almost as if it was a cheesy rom-com Caesar laid his hand on top of mine by accident, he quickly took away his hand "oh so-sorry" he looked off to the side for some reason my heart started beating fast and my cheeks felt hot "Don't worry about i-it" I took another bite of my brownie, for some reason it tasted better, almost as if Caesar made it better. I glanced at Caesar he was red as a tomato, was it embarrassment? Ever since we watched the movie three days ago Caesar has been acting weird and awkward around me, did he not like the movie?

A half an hour later we were ready to go back.
We put away the groceries we bought, Caesar gave me the bag of brownies and then he went straight to his room, he didn't even ask to play video games or give me a 'well that was fun' he definitely thinks i'm weird or something! That blond headed jerk! I walked to my room when JoJo came up to me, "Heeey, [Y/N] wanna play some video games or somethin'?" "Nah, I'm hella tired dude" he gave a frown "C'mon dude, let's play something!" he tried to give his best puppy eyes, he looked kinda dumb honestly I giggled "Jeez you're so childish!" "Damn you're starting to act more like Caesar-chan  everyday! You should hang out with me, the amazing JoJo! Instead of hanging out with that sour blond jerk!" I can feel him smile under the mask "I'm going to take a nap." I turned around and continued walking to my room.

Caesar P.O.V

I went straight to my room after helping [Y/N] put away the groceries, soon after I heard [Y/N] and JoJo talk about something  '...with that sour blond jerk!...' why is he so damn loud?! 
After they finished talking it was all quiet again, this silence is so... ugh I can't even describe it, this awful silence is making me think about how much of a dork I was after I barely touched her hand, after that I could barely talk I was so nervous. I wish I could just go on and tell her. But if she rejects me it would be even more awkward!

After thinking about the what if's and the things I wish I had done I fell asleep.
