Princess of Pretend.
This is your choice.
So you say.
But I don't wanna have
Everyday like today.
I wanna be able to laugh.
I wanna be able to smile.
Perhaps it's better
If we take a break for a while.
And yet my heart
So small and young.
Keeps on telling me
Don't let it be done!
The Queen of acting,
The Duke of fake.
The Princess of Pretend
A harmful snake.
Don't let them know,
Don't let them see
Can't allow them to understand
That the Princess is me.
Princess of Pretend
So kind yet so mean.
The pressure of royalty,
Makes me want to leave.
