My eyes started to slowly open and awaken me from my wonderful slumber. I was about to fall right back asleep until I picked up my phone to check my notifications. Besides all the messages from people on Kik or Instagram and Facebook status there were messages from Braden. " Would you enjoy going to the park with me? We can get something to eat and talk a bit. Maybe even go see a movie!" The first message read. " Oh and good morning beautiful. I love you." The second message read. I wanted to go but I'm too tired and lazy to move. That's the typical everyday and every second me anyway. I put down my phone and leaned up from the comfort of my fluffy blanket on my soft cushy bed. I moved like a turtle to the kitchen and made some toast with Nutella on it. By far the best thing for breakfast and the only thing I will eat. Every bite I took of it most of the Nutella ended up on my face instead of in my mouth. I went back to my room and licked the phone up off the bed. " Sure! What time should I be there?" I responded back to Braden's earlier messages. Over to the bathroom I went. I set down my phone and started taking a shower as I waited for him to reply. When I finished up my shower I grabbed my phone to see if he replied. Surely enough he did " 11:30. If that's ok with you?" My messaged him back " Yeah. That's perfectly fine. " I had about 45 minutes to get ready. I put down the phone on the dark wood towel cabinet to my right. My handed shot down toward a drawer on the left side of the vanity in search of my toothbrush. When j found it I started brushing my teeth and everything I did to get ready. As time passed I was ready and headed over to basically the only park in town, Redwood. When I got out of the car I went over by an old dis functioned bench and sat there. I waited for Braden and watched the trees around me. It was fall so all of the trees had beautiful orange, yellow, and red leaves. When the wind oh so slightly blew leaves would come swaying swiftly through the air landing on the ground. It was a beautiful sight. My gaze started to be less focused when I heard crunching leaves behind me. A gentle hand landed on my shoulder and I knew right away it was Braden. I could tell because the gentle touch and the feel of his hand was just so easy to depict. He came around the old bench and took my hand off my leg he grasped onto my hand tightly and stepped backwards pulling me up. No one else was around the park but us. Braden and I stood in the middle of all the beautiful colored trees as their leaves fell ever so slightly on us and around us. He pulled me into a hug and held onto me tightly. The cold crisp air didn't affect me anymore. Braden's warm hug was enough for me. He moved his head to be looking at me. He looked into my eyes and I did the same. He then moved in closer and kissed me. It was like a dream. It wasn't a big deal but it seemed so perfect. We were in the park with beautifully colored falling leaves around us and we kissed in the middle of it. It was all so perfect. When the kiss was over he asked if I wanted to get ice cream and go to a movie. Of course I said yes. We let go of our long lasting hug and walked down the asphalt in the direction of Ashely's Ice Cream Shop. They have the best ice cream ever. My personal favorite is mint chocolate chip. As we came up to the buildings we looked around at the cool shops and the things in the showcasing windows. Ashely's was coming up on our right. When we walked inside the little bell on the door rang and I could smell the sweetness and the fresh golden waffle cones being made. Braden went up and ordered first as I looked around at all the cool candy creations in the store. I then ordered and asked for my mint chocolate chip ice cream. The man behind the counter was very jolly looking and handed Braden and I our ice creams. I dug into my pocket to get some money but Braden wouldn't let me pay. He did instead and absolutely refused that I do so. We walked out the door and I said " Why wouldn't you let me pay?" " You don't need to. I wanted to get you a sweet treat. I don't want you to pay." Braden retorted with a smirk. We walked through parts of the city eating our ice cream observing people and stores. We discussed many things and messed around a lot. I had fun with Braden. The day went by with crazy adventures that I will remember for a long time. Now it was late and time to go to bed. I found myself sitting up in bed watching T.V. and on my phone. The day went by so fast yet it was so fun. My eyes started getting heavier and heavier until I fell asleep.
