Tyler's POV

"Mom I'm an adult now, just let me do my thing. And it's not like I did anything crazy wrong. Michael and I just got drunk with each other and passed out. I'm sorry to break it to you but this definitely isn't the first time and it definitely won't be the last. Just please stop trying to micro manage me all the time."

"I don't micro manage you all the time, I just try to make good decisions for you because clearly you can't make any for yourself. My house, my rules, and if you can't accept that, then get out." That's it, I've had it.

"You know what? I will. I'm an adult now so I'm going to act like one. I will be out of here by tomorrow morning." I yelled as I stomped up the stairs.

"Michael, get your shit together and help me get mine. We're getting out of here. Can I stay with you until I get my own place?" I asked with rage in my eyes and voice. "Uhh sure I guess. I mean yeah of course..." he replied, sounding really caught off guard.

"For right now I'll just grab my necessities. I'm sorry Michael..."

"Dude, It's fine, really. Can I just ask what happened?" "My mom walked into the house freaking out on me because we got wasted last night and I'm just sick and tired of her controlling me. I just need to be an adult and stop relying on her so much. Can we please just get out of here?" I asked as I frantically packed my suit case.

Michael's POV

I feel so bad for Tyler. He just seems so lost in this world, like he doesn't fit in any where. I just hope I help him to be happier or at least a little less so pissed off at the world. I live about fifteen minutes away from Tyler and the car was completely silent for all fifteen minutes. As I pulled into my driveway, I looked over at him.

"Hey, everything will work out for you some day, I know it. We'll do this together... We'll... We'll make it to the top. I will make sure of it. It will happen." He looked over at me. "Thank you..." is all he said as he got out of the car and walked to the trunk to get his suit case.

"Yo, mom and dad, Twitch is in the building and Ty Butt is with me." I yelled through all the house, knowing my parents were some where here, probably somewhere reading the Bible or something... "He's gonna be staying with us for a bit, alright? Alright." I answered for them. Tyler and I walked into my room and sat on my bed.

"Dude I gotta get a job or go to college or something... Hell, probably both. I don't know what to freaking do Michael." he said as he ran his fingers through his hair and sighed.

"I know what will get your mind off of this. Whataya say we start writing songs for our band." I suggested. "Michael, there's only two of us, we need more people." "Maybe not. Wouldn't it be cool if we did, like, a two man thing? I mean, we both know how to play drums, I somewhat know how to play bass and you started learning guitar a while ago. There, we have a whole band!"

"I guess that'd be pretty cool... and original. Yeah, let's do it." Wow, that's the third time he's agreed with me in the past twenty-four hours. That must be a new record.

"Whelp, we just successfully wrote our very first song. And it's only four in the morning. I don't know about you, but I feel accomplished." Tyler said while yawning. "Damn straight dude. Now we just gotta record it."

"Do you ever think about going to college?" Tyler asked, changing the subject. "I mean, yeah, I've thought about it but I've never seriously considered going. Why?"

"Because I do... all the time. I never told you this but I applied to Auburn a week before graduation. I got my letter back and I didn't want to open it until I talked to you..." Oh God, he can't leave me. "and I was wondering if you wanted to apply too."

"I don't know man, I don't think any college would accept me. I'm a dumb ass. But I mean, there's no hurt in applying I guess..." Did I really just say that??? "Really? Dude you can apply online! let's do it now!"
