Freddy anxiously looked around the campsite, trying to see if there were any more signs of his friends.

But there wasn't anything to be found

But there wasn't anything to be found. Just a lot of blood in the tent, and several scattered shoe prints on the ground. It seemed like most of them ran off in different directions. He followed the trail of one of the shoe prints, hoping it would give him some more clues. About halfway following the trail, he saw a large footprint imbedded in the dirt. This was a human footprint, but it certainly didn't look like any footprint he had even seen before. It looked much larger, around three feet long and two feet wide. It had the same amount of toes as a human did, but they just seemed weirdly dislocated and disarranged.

These footprints lead to a trail, leading inside of the nearby forest. I need to find a place to find help. I don't think I saw any radios in the RV. Maybe I should just go back to my car? Or should I try seeing what else is around? My friends might've had something that could help me. Maybe a map or a guideline or something. I should start looking.

He tried searching the campsite again, making sure to see if there was anything that could be useful for him. There wasn't anything in the tent, but he did manage to find some supplies in the RV. Inside were a few packs of chips, just in case he got hungry, a pocket knife, and a small map of South Point Meadow Park. The map showed some local points, the trail that went through the forest, and a few more locations. Freddy looked to see if there was any place he could get help from, and all he could find was the ranger's watch tower, outlined on the map with a red marker. There were a few words written on it, in marker, reading out, "Come here if help needed".

Guess I should head to the ranger's watch tower, then. Maybe I can get some help there. Should I just go back to my car or should I make my way on foot, though? It doesn't seem like a very long walk, at least, according to the map. Sure, I think I'll manage it on foot. He took the map, the little chip bags and the extra flashlight with him, and walked back on the dirt path to hopefully get some help.

As he was walking along the path, many more trees started showing up, these ones looking quite dead. It was getting kind of boring for Freddy, though, since it felt like it was taking him forever to finally reach the watch tower. Why didn't I just walk back and start the car? I guarantee I would've gotten here faster if I had just done that. After a while, something finally came up in the distance. It was a large wooden tower, with four poles stabilizing it and a cabin-like structure at the very top. It was massive, and seemed to be around sixty feet high. There also seemed to be several sets of stairs, leading all the way up to the top of the tower. Finally I'm here. Now I just have to get the ranger and call for help. Shouldn't be too hard.

He began walking up the stairs, with each staircase taking a left turn once he reached the end of it. There were many more stairs than Freddy expected, so it took him a while to get to the top. When he finally got there, he entered the ranger's office, hoping to find the ranger, but instead found no sign of him anywhere. There wasn't anyone else with him inside the tower. All that was there were two desks, a chair, a radio, a hunting rifle with some ammunition lying around and some kind of investigation board.

This board showed several photos, documents, and newspaper articles, each relating to some kind of mysterious activity going on. He looked over these documents carefully to see if there was anything about his friends, and he found their photos attached to the board. He recognized John, Sarah and Caitlyn's pictures, but he couldn't tell who the fourth person was. Then he found a newspaper about four high schoolers that mysteriously disappeared from South Point Meadow Park, those being the following: John Parker, Sarah Myers, Caitlyn Williams and Thomas Cunningham. Oh my God, those are my friends. What happened to them? I need to know if they're okay.

Freddy got ahold of the rifle and loaded the ammunition, just in case he came across a bear or some other creature. He heard from the locals that bears we reportedly spotted around this park, so it's better to be safe than sorry. He tried getting the radio to work, and tried adjusting it to get the right frequency, but it didn't look like anything was working. Maybe the radio tower is down. There should be some kind of cellar or underground generator I can use to get it back on. Then, seemingly out of nowhere, the radio started broadcasting a new message.

"Later this evening, a body was found mutilated and left by the park cellar where they store supplies for emergencies. Officials believe that the body that was found is that of John Parker, one of the four missing friends from the local high school. They say his body was torn apart by some immense force. Possibly hit by a-_|\"

The radio was immediately cut off, and as the message was playing, Freddy could hear some kind of alarm noise coming deep within the forest. No, no, no, not John. This can't be true. This cannot be true! He can't be dead! Freddy was feeling incredibly emotional after hearing this news. John had been one of his best friends since freshman grade. Hearing that he was dead made him burst into tears. What happened to everyone else? Are they dead, too, like John?! Where are they? And what the hell could've possibly killed John?

They said he was mutilated and hit by something, but why would his body be left behind at the park cellar of all places? Why there? Why wouldn't someone have tried to get rid of the body instead of just placing it near there? And my God, when I find the son of a bitch who took John's life, I'm gonna shoot their brains out. Freddy's sadness quickly turned into fury, as he loaded the rifle and rushed down the staircases, prepared to go back to the radio tower to find a way to get help, and hopefully find out where the rest of his friends were.
