The Doctor ran through Galifrey, towards his beloved blue box. Buildings flashed past him as he ran through his home planet being destroyed. He weaved around bombs that threatened to explode underneath him. He had a small child cradled in his arms, who was crying. He needed to save this child. If he could get it off Galifrey to earth, he could give it a good home. He weaved around another bomb, just barely missing it. Every step he took, getting closer to his box. He ran like lightning, until he finally made it to his box, he took one step inside and slammed the door shut. Just as he left his box, bigger on the inside, everything in order. He threw the child into a chair and flipped some switches. They were headed for earth.

I was in my kitchen, having a snack when I heard a whirring noise Just outside the house. I looked out the window, same trees, same everything, but there was a blue box right in the middle of it.
“Stay inside, where it’s safe” I told myself. But my curiosity got the better of me. I ran towards the door running past my trombone, almost knocking it over, out my garage, and onto the driveway. I circled the small box, looking for a door, passing it a few times before realizing I had. I tried opening it. Locked! I tried busting it down, no luck. I tried one more time but before I could, a man wearing a terribly mismatched suit opened the door.
“You know you could’ve just knocked.” He frowned. I fell back in shock. I didn’t expect someone to be inside it. It looked like a blue, wooden port-a-potty.
“Who are you?” I stammered.
“Me?” He asked, “I’m The Doctor.”
Odd name I thought.
“So when and where am I?” He asked.
“G-G-Georgia, 2014” I spluttered. When was he? Odd.
“Oh, nothing important right now, I’ll be off.” He said, turning on his heels, back into his box.
“So, you’re just going to leave?” I asked, curious as to where he was going and how he could get there in that box.
“Well, yes.” He replied, “Unless you’re coming with me.” I didn’t think it was a good idea, but my curiosity got the better of me. I stepped inside the box only to find it was much bigger on the inside. It had a control panel in the center and it looked like many hallways were expanding out of it.
“How?” I asked, awestruck.
“It’s a TARDIS” He explained. “It can take you anywhere in time and space. So! Where to?- WAIT! First I need your name.”
“Ella! Now lets go!” I cried, eager to see if it actually worked.
The floor started to shake, and I fell back onto something hard. When the shaking stopped I picked it up. It was a photo frame with a red haired woman and a brown haired man standing next to each other and smiling.
“Who are these people?” I asked, gesturing to the photo.
“Oh, my old friends” He said gloomily, “Now! Let’s go..”
“What happened to them?” I asked, wondering.
“Oh, umm, I lost them…” He trailed off. I didn’t want to be rude but I needed to know,
“How so?” I asked.
“They… They were trapped in a another dimension.” He said, gazing downwards at his shoes.
“Then, lets go get them!” I declared.
“We can’t just go to another dimension.”
“Why not?”
