The lyrics of Phobia talk about being scared to go near someone and express yourself. In actual definitions, a phobia is a huge fear you cannot get rid of. For this MV, a phobia represents a dark place you cannot get out of. You want to and you can't understand why you're there in the first place. However, there are always ways to get out of there, and once you do, there is light. In this fan made written MV, the Stray Kids members are separated and going through obstacles that represent a "phobia." In the end, they will find themselves in the same beautiful place, after overcoming these obstacles and fears.

The song begins in a dark room, where you cannot see anything. The lights turn on once Han's line begins.

Han's line: Han is standing in the middle of a stage like room surrounded by spotlights. As he sings, the spotlights flicker on and off, as if they cannot maintain to keep the room in light. Since Han lines are very dominant in the song, it makes sense that he is in a performance like space. The lights turn on and off to the beat of his singing.

Instrumental interlude: To the beat, there is a closeup of Seungmin, Lee Know, Bang Chan, and I.N's faces. They look either scared, sad, or emotionless, and their surroundings are not shown.

Han's line: Showing the same thing as his above lines.

Instrumental interlude: To the beat, there is a closeup of Felix (eyes are closed), Hyunjin (eyes are closed), and Changbin's faces, and then going back to a closeup of Han's face in the dark room. Their surroundings are not shown (though we already know where Han is) and they also look either scared, sad, or emotionless. A little bit of Seungmin's line begins when Han is shown.

Seungmin's line: Seungmin is shown in a narrow hallway and he is slowly walking forward, trailing his hand on the wall next to him. He then slowly leans against the wall at the intersection and looks to his right (like the picture of him on the Zaty Farhani lyric video)

Lee Know's line: A side view of Lee Know's face is shown. He is looking somewhere in front of him. In the small interlude, the scene switches to Felix's face, who opens his eyes. Then there is a back shot of Lee Know, who stands in front of a long winding pathway in front of him.

Bang Chan's line: Bang Chan is leaning against the railing on a platform. It is then zoomed out to show that the platform is high up from the ground.

Changbin's line: Changbin is walking through a city-like area, surrounded by shadowed people with their backs turned. His head is looking at these people. In the small interlude, the scene switches to a part of Seungmin's head, looking to the right, revealing a hallway cloaked in darkness. Now, back to Changbin, he quickly puts his hood over his head and looks down, trying to get out of this sea of people.

Han's line: In the dark room, a closeup of Han is shown walking towards the wall of this stage room.

Hyunjin's line: Hyunjin's eyes open, and it looks like he is sitting down and leaning on something. He does not lip sync this line.

I.N.'s line: I.N. is also in a dark room, but it is more confined, with no lights. A side view is shown as he looks like he's heading towards something. There is a shot of a door in front of him, with light seeping through the cracks. However, as I.N. tries to take another step forward, he is stopped. He looks towards the chain connecting his hand to the wall railing, preventing him from leaving the room. During the small interlude, the scene is changed to a very far out shot of Hyunjin (almost from the sky, where Hyunjin looks very small), revealing that he is sitting against a tree, in a flat area, surrounded by flames. Part of Seungmin's line ("I'm stuck with a") begins.

Seungmin's line (beginning at "phobia"): Seungmin quickly turns away from the right, pressing himself against the wall, as if he's scared of that dark hallway. The scene changes showing two feet taking off into a run (they're Lee Know's). Then, (at the next "I'm stuck with a phobia) the scene shifts back to Seungmin (not lip syncing this time) leaning against the wall. He suddenly feels something and looks down. When he does, it shows that there is a flashlight next to his foot.
