I sat up in my bed and yawned glancing at my clock 6:00. I jumped out of bed and rummaged through my closet for an outfit. I managed to find a white shirt and dark blue scarf, dark blue jeans and dark brown combat boots. I heard scratching at my door I creak it open only to find my cat mouse standing there. He sat on my bed meowing and licking his paws. I rubbed and kissed his head and went downstairs for breakfast.

"Good morning Jamie how'd you sleep?" Mom asked as she flipped pancakes in the frying pan "Great!" I said as mouse came trotting down the stairs. I pulled out my phone and started to text my friend Sara
Sara: hey well be there in 5 to pick you up xoxo
Jamie:ok girl I'll be ready
I shoved my breakfast into my mouth and ran out the door. About three minutes later my friends showed up.
"Get in!" Madison said laughing
"What's so funny?" I asked curiously
"Nothing just the fact you have syrup on your chin that's all." Lauren giggled
I laughed and wiped it off with my shirt

"Well here we are girls." Madison said
We all waved goodbye and headed to our classes. I was off to history I walked down the hallway I looked over and Ryan was staring at me. I was shocked Ryan was the school popular not like a cheater or player or a jock I mean every girl wanted him. I mean maybe he likes me maybe he doesn't I don't know.
I entered the class room and sat in my seat taking out my notebook them Ryan walks in.
"Hey....Jamie right?"
"yeah." I said tucking my brown hair behind my ear.
"Cool." he handed me a piece of paper I opened it up it his phone number was written inside. I smiled and ripped a bit of paper off and I write my number inside. "Here.." I hand I to him he smiles and takes his seat.

(The bell rings and the class nearly jumps out of their seats)
"Hey I'll text you tonight" Ryan says winking "ok." I say smiling my friends are waiting for me at the door "so who were you talking to?" Sara asked suspiciously "Ryan but he just gave me his number its no big deal." they all squealed with excitement and I had to listen to the babble about it all day
