Prologue

This story may be inspired by real-life events and follows the journey of Pratik and Nitika, two individuals with contrasting personalities. They randomly connect through Instagram, despite having no mutual friends and living on opposite sides of the same city.

Pratik is an average teenager who experienced an unexpected betrayal in his last relationship. After this heartbreak, he went from confiding in just his girlfriend to having 15 to 20 girls in his inbox waiting for replies. He became adept at chatting with random girls online but never met anyone in person; he simply enjoyed the conversations. This shift begs the question: Why did he choose this path? Was there a specific reason or motivation behind his behavior? Did the betrayal leave him unable to trust anyone again? As fate would have it, he unexpectedly meets a girl online who changes everything. Will he find the love of his life, or will this merely become another life lesson?

Nitika, on the other hand, is Pratik’s complete opposite. She is more of an ambivert, leaning towards extroversion, and comes from a strict family that forbids her from talking to anyone on the phone. Her elder brother, Naitik, is not just a sibling but her best friend. Like Pratik, Nitika has also recently gone through a breakup, making them both shares similarities in their past pain.

How will their meeting play out? Can two broken individuals embrace and heal each other, or will they cause further hurt? Together, they have the potential to create something beautiful or simply remain online friends, keeping their relationship platonic.
