Chapter 28:The end

Travis pov.

Summer going to be due in two weeks and I can't wait to meet my little Lilly. I have been juggling the gang and my family well. We haven't put Summer in any of the business for obvious reasons. I love that they didn't even think twice about making her work over her safety. They are truly my second family, but other gangs have got news about Summer and her importance to us. We have been having to put out a lot of attacks to keep our reputation. To prove we haven't gone weak. Last week I got in a fight so bad I had to lie and say we were planning the baby shower so she couldn't see me for a week. Of course, she was suspicious. Now we on the way to the building we rented to try to put some shit together as the baby shower I fake planned. I plan to ask her to marry me tonight at the baby shower. I know we are so young and I just started my first year in college but I know for a fact there is no life without her. I can say me from a year ago wouldn't believe this was me talking. She changes me to a better man.
"Duck you idiot" Ric yells and I duck as the guy continues to shoot. I pick up my hidden gun from under the seat.  And started shooting back till they car begin spinning backward. See, old me would have targeted them I shot mostly at the car they are someone child .... Conscience improvement check.
"Shit, you think it's saved to go to the baby shower," I ask worriedly.
"Dude they are dead that car flipped like eight times ... probably should call the cleaner," Aiden said. I look to the others for reassurance and they all shook their head helping me relax.
"They would be nuts to come to a place where we have so many members," Zach said reminding me that we got many of them outs of town gang members and high table members coming too. Another reason I want to marry her tonight. She will have the ultimate covering. So I decided to put the ring in her slice of cake Aiden said no cause she is too greedy but the others agreed it's going into the cake.  But my love for something she loves. I look over to meet my future wife glare.
"Yes love," I say kissing her forehead.
"You up to something," she said looking for the boys but I already told them to stay out of her grasp because she would milk the truth out of them.
"Nope, just want to play some games and open some gifts and watch you eat cake."  She looks away from me then looks down.
"I'm not eating cake" she muttered. What the fuck she literally has been eating cake and ice cream every weekend. Why the one time I need her to eat cake she doesn't want it.
"Why," I ask and her eyes begin to water.
"Because" she sniffs, "Aiden called me fat and it's true I can't see my feet" she cry emotionally. Her hormones have her crying every other hour.
"I'm going to murder him and you're not fat your pregnant," I argued.
"I ate the cake in one bite," she said sadly making me laugh.
"Baby your dramatic that's impossible just eat the  cake and even if you do get fat I will love you anyway." I kiss her head and my eyes shot to Aiden and narrowed before I begin chasing him down and he started running after a few mins of noticing me coming. I hawked him down easily. That what happens when you two hundred pounds of muscle you get slow.
"Ahhh, I didn't do anything don't hit me." He said trying to Dodge my hits.
"Then why were you running?!"
"Cause you were chasing me!!" he said in a duh tone. I rolled my eye.
"Why did you call Summer fat you made her cry," I question
"Hey, I did not say that.. like that...I just said 'wow you ate that cake in one bite '" I rolled my eyes and smacked him in the head
"Your stupid you know that. Ugh, come on so we can open the gifts and get the cake. "

We open gifts and Summer talked with Olivia and Marcus until I called her over and sliced her the first cake. Everyone knew so we all waited for her reaction. Summer eyes glowed with joy as he vision zoom in on her slice she grabbed it and put the whole slice in her mouth making everyone eyes open with shock. We waited for her to spit the ring out but she swallowed and was licking her fingers then look up at us and blushed.
"What"
"Told you it was a bad idea" Aiden whispered. Catching Summer attention.
"It's okay That can wait till it comes... out the other end...the question can't," I said getting on one knee grabbing her hand.
"I don't have the ring at the moment but, I love you and can't see my life without you. We have been through hell and back and still, you are by my side with my flaws and all. That's the type of woman I want to wake up to every day. That's the type of woman I would love to be my wife. Will you marry me? "Summer face was red.
"I ate the ring didn't I," she said sadly "that's some fat shit," she said earning a nod from Some of the people.
"You gonna leave me hanging love," I ask her smirking knowing her answer. She smiled back at me and grabbed my hand.
"I do," she said before her body jerk forward and blood covered my face as people screamed. Her body goes limp in my arms as I slowly blackout from either the pain of my heart or the pain in my body.
"Shoot him again unless you want John wick .2 coming after us." A man yells.
"Good night Romeo!"
