You awoke to the sound of trumpets.
It was so loud that you had to cover your ears but it didn't help stop the sound.
Sitting up, you looked at your surroundings, you appeared to be in a desert.
Squinting, you saw something in the distance and got up, running to whatever it was, the sound of the trumpets still hurting your ears.
As you got closer, you saw that it was someone riding a camel with 2 people trailing right behind them.
"Hey!" you yelled as you got closer.
The trio stopped moving and once you were near them, you stopped running.
"D-do you know where I am?" you asked.
The 2 men looked at you, stoic expressions on their faces.
You gulped as you repeated your question again.
The man on the camel turned his camel around and you gasped.
"Lucas?"
The man who looked like Lucas laughed loudly, his laugh swimming through your ears and into your mind.
"Lucas? I am King Paimon." he told you loudly, his voice piercing your eardrums.
You winced, covering your ears once more.
"What's wrong?" he laughed and once again you winced.
His voice and the trumpets... it was all too much noise.
"Everything is too loud!" you yelled, your eyes closed.
"Oh?" he said and suddenly, the trumpets stopped.
"Is this better?" he asked, his deep voice at a normal volume.
"Yes." you nodded, opening your eyes slowly.
"Um, Paimon-"
"King Paimon." he interrupted, a serious look on his face.
"King Paimon... Um, where am I?"
"If I were to answer that question, it'll scare you to death." he said, a cheeky smirk on his face.
"What do you mean by that?"
He laughed.
"I'm only joking with you Y/n."
"How do you know my name?" you asked him.
"I know everything sweetheart."
"If you know everything, then why won't you tell me where I am?" King Paimon chuckled, his lips curved into a smirk.
"Because it's more fun messing with you humans."
You frowned.
"Humans? What do you mean by that?"
"I know you know the answer to your question Y/n. I know that you know exactly who and what I am..." he said lowly, a serious look on his face.
You gulped.
He was right.
You were always drawn to witchcraft and the sorts.
You loved the mystical side of the world but didn't do much since you were afraid of attracting something evil into your life. That's why though you were drawn to witchcraft, you never actually practiced it, only reading books about it, especially demonology and more specifically, the Goetia.
"So tell me Y/n. Who am I?" he asked.
"You're King Paimon. One of the kings of hell." you answered, staring at him in fear.
You didn't mess with any form of witchcraft so why was he here?
He chuckled, tilting his head.
"I like you. You're very knowledgeable in the metaphysical, the philosophical... I like that." he smiled. "You know, I know so much about you. I know about your past and I know about your future too." he leaned forward. "Do you wish to know what your future has in-stored for you?"
You quietly nodded.
King Paimon licked his lips, his eyes never leaving yours.
"An eternity in hell awaits you but you will not suffer."
"Huh? What do you mean? Isn't hell punishment for those who have sinned?" you asked, confusion written over your face.
"Exactly my love. You will spend the rest of your days in hell by my side." he smiled and your eyes widen.
"Wait! That's... You can't do that!" you panicked.
"Oh but I can and I will. But unlike Lucifer who took that poor human by force, I have an actual plan to have you."
"W-what is it?" you asked nervously, your body shaking.
He smiled warmly at you.
"I'm gonna make you fall in love with me."
