My mother just drove me to my new home in Mystic Falls. I messed up everything at my old school. Bad marks, no friends and a lot of trouble. So I have to spend my last year here with my cousin Elena until I turn eighteen. Before Jeremy lived with us for a bit he was 'messed up' too, so my mother thought that Elena could fix me. I hoped she'd say no but she didn't so here we go. My mom stops in front of a huge property. 'I hope you know that I don't have another choice Valentine.' I just get out of the car without turning around, I never want to see her face again. I stand there all by myself and look at the house, it's old but beautiful. A door opens and Elena comes out 'hey, don't you wanna come in?' She smiles so I smile back and enter. A man with the prettiest blue eyes I've ever seen looks at me for a second 'Valentine, that's Damon, my boyfriend' I smile again 'Hi.' I really don't know what else to say 'come with me, I'll show you your room'said Elena still friendly and I nood.
