chapter eight:

When the morning arrives, I'm left tired and groggy. I toss and turn...in hopes to maybe fall back into a deep sleep. After a good twenty minutes, a knock on my door breaks me out of my dozing. I find it odd that someone's in my house. My parents are at work and my brother is at a friends house...unless it's Peyton, but our relationship isn't on the best of terms right now. I slowly bring myself to my feet as another knock is heard. I open the door wide, and there stands a sad looking Dylan Harper.

"What the he-" I begin, but as soon as I start to talk I feel his lips against mine.

He travels over behind the door and closes it with his foot. His hands are roaming, and I'm left in complete shock. I, for some reason, wrap my arms around him. I kiss him back and the second I press my lips into his, I'm left with instant regret. That's when I hear him taking his leather jacket off, and we take a breather. He takes off my shirt, and there I am left standing in front of my actual first love that I buried in the past and made sure to forget, in my purple laced bra.

"What the hell is going on?!" I ask him.

"I want you." He says shyly.

"I have a boyfriend!" I yell at him.

"That lame ass pretty boy won't love you like I do!" He yells back.

"Reality check Dylan, you and I aren't a match!"

"I want us to be, Mya!"

He smashes his lips into mine again, and begins to attempt to take off my pants. I push him off of me, and he goes crashing into the wall. He looks like a sad puppy when his eyes meet mine again. I scoop up my shirt and pullup my pants.

"Go." I say as I travel to my nightstand where I can change into actual clothes.

I get changed, and I open my window where I see him as he walks over to his bike. He looks back up into my eyes with a hint of anger. He picks up his helmet and starts to put it on, but before it's completely on, he speaks to me.

"Just know Mya, you and your little boyfriend are going to regret what you just did." He says pushing his helmet over his face.

He hops onto his black motor bike and speeds off. I close my window, and plop back down on my bed. Thoughts are taking over, and all I can think about is how terrifying Dylan really is. I've seen him do horrible things...I couldn't imagine what he had planned for me and Reese.
