The apocolypse started when a man down in new Orleans ate an escaped frog from a research facility.It spread so fast that when the government recognized it existed, It was to late. The human race was nearly whipped out except the ones who were strong enough to survive. They made safe havens through out the rest of America. They live this way to survive most of electricity still works and not much has changed the American way of life.
I was donated to the base number 36 madeand was the only surviver of project alistair. They were trying to make the human immune system twice as strong to with stand the bacteria. It took 6 years to make it work on me by then there was a fighting ring. The rule was if you won 12 fights you weren't a test subject. I made it to seven fights before the project effected me.
My body's functions were all made to work twice as normal meaning my all of my body workted twice as well. My body became scarred not to long from testing. They had, in the process of making the alistair project the had made new and more strains of the baser bacteria. About a year after success, the labs were overrun with based and the strains got out and ravaged the rest of the population.
