My blazing heart

      The Commander gave us the day to ourselves. I was the only one in the girls dorm. I sat alone on my bed in a pair of blue shirt shorts and a blue tank top, just thinking.

  This world was so cruel yet it was beautiful. The birds that glided across the sky were so beautiful, but the titans were so cruel. I shook my head at tye thought. It was silly. I knew that. I can't be focusing on such siloy thoughts. I had to focus on my training. I had to exact my revenge on the pitiful bastards that killed my mother and caused my Father to trip to his own death. They all had to die! Tears filled my eyes and slide down my face.

  "Miyu? Are you ok? What's wrong?" I looked up in surprise at the sound of Eren's vioce. He was walking towards me. I whiped a my cheeks. He can't see me cry! I can't be weak! He sat beside me on my bed. I turned my head away so he wouldn't see me crying. He reached over and turned my face to look at him. He sighed and whipped a stray tear off my cheek.

  "Why are you crying?!" He asked in a panic. I smiled softly at him and put a hand on his cheek to calm him down. He looked at me worriedly.

"I'm ok, Eren. I was just thinking of my Momma and Papa." I said. He put his hand on top of mine as he looked me in my eyes.

"I know how you feel, Miyu." He said softly and pulled me into his arms and against his chest. I relaxed into his arms and closed my eyes.

"I haven't held you since THAT day." He said softly into my hair. I nodded.

"I know." I whispered back to him. "I've missed your arms, Eren." I left my eyes closed and heard him sigh. He rested his cheek on the top of my head. He pulled me back to lay down. I let him and used his chest as my pillow. He held me tightly to him.

"Are you really going to join the scouting legion with me?" He asked I nodded.

"Mhm." I hummed and looked up at him. He was looing down at me with those green eyes of his. He was smiling.

"Good. Im glad. That way I can watch over you and still be close to you as well." He murmured sleepily.

I nodded tired myself. I scooted up and nuzzled my head into his neck and he rested his cheek on my forehead. My eyes slowly closed and I fell asleep.

  I awoke still in Eren's arms. I looked up at him and he was asleep. I smiled softly as a warm feeling bubbled up inside me. I reached over and brushed some of his hair out of his face. Eren had always made me feel like that. He had always made my heart skip and flutter, he always made me feel safe when he just even looked at me with those teal eyes of his. I smiled and his eyes fluttered open.

"Hey there sleepy head." I smiled.

"Hey." He murmured back rubbing his eyes as he pulled me back down to lay my head on his shoulder.

"Sleep well?" I asked looking up at him. He nodded and smiled yawning.

  "Hey Mikasa you in her-" I looked towards the door to see Jean standing there frozen.

"What is going on here!?" He asked slightly surprised and I thought I saw a flash of jealousy in his eyes.

"Nun ya." I said waving my hand at him in dissmisal as Eren immediately sat up causing me to fall into his lap. I blinked a few times. Jean turned around and   walked out in a huff. Me and Eren looked at each other before we burst out into laughter.

"Did you see his face!" I guffawed.

"Hell yeah!" Eren laughed. We laughed for a little while before Eren left to go shower and I did the same as well.

I stood under the warm water of the shower and sighed letting the water run through my black hair and down my back and chest. I closed my eyes. I opened them again to squeeze some shampoo into the palm of my hand and began to scrub my hair clean. Then i rinsed it out and washed my body and shaved my legs. I thn got out and dried myself off. I put on my underwear and a black tank top and black shirt shorts to sleep in. I exited the bathroom to see averyone else getting ready for bed. I crawled into my bed and under the covers. I pulled the blanket up.
'It still smells like him' I thought with a soft smie. Someone turned out te lights and I fluttered my eyes closed and fell asleep.
