Third Person POV

Bakugo had still not heard from his soulmate, could he even call him that anymore though? Bakugo glanced at the young boy over his shoulder, he was just listening to his bullshit friends so he had time to be able to analyze the young boy. He noticed a destroyed condition Shoto possessed and wondered why it was there and if he had any possibility to make it even just a tiny bit better. Happiness doesn't just come around, happiness isn't obtained, happiness isn't real but; to Bakugo he covets the thought of it so he could see Peppermint eventually smile. "Don't bring the mood down by being all pessimistic and shit." Was all he said before walking out of the room and into his bedroom.

Todoroki looked at the blonde to barely discover him to already be missing. This was his time to apologize to him for the crap he provoked and break it off with him. He didn't believe Bakugo was ever going to be content with him. He can't be and isn't what the blonde craves.

He's not a deliberately happy person, he is too shy to even make conversations. He just wasn't good enough for Katsuki. What happens when he disappoints him like he disappointed the remaining of the people in his life? It was foolish to ever hope that someone could love him, no one could love and care regarding such a failure. He failed his mother, someone who was meriting more than anything in the world, then his oldest brother disappeared attaching another failure tick to his board.

To the rest of the group, it almost seemed like they desired to try but at the same time, neither of them wanted to try. It was like they were petrified of ruining each other, apprehensive of letting each other down. But it also was like they desired each other to fight for them, to demonstrate to them that their fears have no substantial accuracy to it.

And yet, they're the only ones who can make the other one as happy as they do. They're only impeccable when they're together and that is what is keeping them together, not some ridiculous bond they were born with. Authentic feelings, genuine trust, genuine heartache, authentic love, and genuine commitment is what is keeping them together. They were two incredibly headstrong people, and neither of them were going to just give up on each other nor will they give in to speak to one another until the other one does it initially. "Todoroki, you should go talk to him," Momo said like a mother, nodding her head towards the stairs. No one else said anything but stared at him with that look.

Shoto sighed and stood up. "Yeah, whatever." He then began walking towards the bedroom that belongs to Bakugo. When he was in front of the door he overheard the chatter start back up making him hesitate. Does he really want to give this dumbass up? Todoroki waved the thoughts off. Of course he did, it appears to be the most beneficial situation for the blonde. He tapped once on the door and then it opened, revealing off the deep scarlet eyed attraction standing in front of his essentially cleaned room. "Have you finally got done with your tantrum?"

Shoto's words got stuck in his throat upon hearing this but retrieved his composure and gazed down. "I should go." The bi-colored boy spun around and raced towards the front door then out, he kept running until he could no longer and that's when he shifted to walking. Bakugo was shocked for a few seconds before he snapped out of it, seized his jacket, and ran outside his house to discover the boy already gone. "DAMN IT!" He thought for a few minutes, where could he have possibly gone, and then it clicks in his head and he began sprinting towards where he thought the boy was.
