Chapter 4

Layla started packing everything that she needed. She always wondered what the wild west will be like and what would the people there respond when they see her.

I'm so scared. What if they don't like me. Layla thought.

I swear girl, they're gonna be nice to you.

Just calm down and pack more stuff.

"What do I need?" Layla wondered, " I think I should pack extra clothes, a toothbrush, a toothpaste, a bar of soap, a shampoo bottle, of course, extra gloves, and my cannon. " Layla said.

Wait a second, my cannon can't fit in my suitcase!

Better just carry it.

Layla zipped the suitcase tightly closed. Then she left her room and went downstairs.

Lolita is asleep?

I'll just leave her there.

Oh wait! She's waking up.

Lolita woke up and yawned just as she saw Layla by the stairs.

"Oh hi! I was just so sleepy, that's why I slept on the couch!" Lolita said.

"Hahaha! Let's go outside for a while." Layla said.

Then they went outside. It was so noisy, so Lolita had to cover her elf ears. Layla laughed.

"Ahh! Sounds like a chainsaw mixed with a gigantic elephant!" Lolita shouted.

"Haha, I know right! Oh, Eudora is in a cafe. We should go inside."

Then they went in the quiet cafe. Eudora saw them, so she waved hello.

"Hi Eudora!" Layla cheerfully said.

"Hello Layla! " Eudora said.

"Finally, a quiet place!" Lolita said with a smile on her face. Then Layla and Eudora laughed.

"What's so funny?" Lolita asked.

"Oh nothing!" Eudora said, "So Layla, why did a mailman-"

"Oh. It's because he sent me a letter that said I have to go to the Agelta Drylands. He said I should be there, just in case if there's any war coming up." Layla explained, "Well, I don't have to be alone. He said I should just help Clint. Clint is a-"

"Cowboy." Eudora finished.

"How did you know?" Layla asked.

"It's because I know he lives there, and I know that most men there are cowboys." Eudora said.

"Hahaha! Okay, okay!" Layla said.

They stayed there for two hours, drinking cappuccino, then they saw the sunset.

"We better go home now." Layla said, "Bye Eudora!"

"Bye Layla! Bye Lolita!" Eudora said.

"Buh-bye!" Lolita said.

Then all of them left the cafe. Layla fetched Lolita home while Eudora went to the Magic Academy. Then Layla went to her house.

Goodnight! She thought.

Then she fell asleep.
