electric blues

scrambled into a dull grey.

my mind, it plays tricks.

whatever i think

whatever i feel-

fine.

I am fine

dancing between the fine lines of madness.

down another fizz to fog my thoughts.

free at last.

party dresses swirling,

glittering gold.

keep your eye on me,

it paints my smiles

the painted girl

that is all i am.

vivid, vibrant portrait,

forever twirling

on tipped toe.

my head turns around

eyes on the sky.

the dust looks like stars.

breathe easy.

it will be okay.

the bleeding will stop.

liquid red will harden to scabby black

no more leaking

no more leaking

puffy white lies breathed out.

this was all i was.
