But we weren't... As Huening Kai was making his way up, we could hear thuds coming towards us. "Shoot. Shoot. Shoot" Beomgyu shouted in fear, "C'mon Huening Kai!" He reached out to help him up but Kai refused. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! Hurry up and hold onto me!".
"You guys go! I'll distract him!" He shouted and after mere seconds of seeing him... Huening Kai was gone...
As we slowly came back up blocking the exit, everyone was silent. It was as if we didn't know each other and we never wanted to. "TAEHYUN, HOW COULD YOU LET KAI DO THIS?!", someone suddenly exclaimed out and I rolled around to see it was Yeonjun which boiled my blood even more.
"EXCUSE ME?!" I yelled angrily, "NO. I'M SORRY. I'M SORRY THAT I'M NOT THE ONE TRYING TO GET EVERYONE SAFE AND SOUND OUTSIDE OF THIS HELLHOLE AND THAT YOU ARE YEONJUN". I clenched my fists by my side, my nails digging deeper and deeper into my skin, I couldn't believe he was being this stupid about the situation that we were in.
"You know.. he does have a point..." Beomgyu muttered from behind me, "You did say that we'd stay by each other's sides no matter what and we've just lost Kai.".
I raised my eyebrow shocked, "Really, Beomgyu? You're on Yeonjun's side?".
"I mean, you did break your promise..." I scoffed at him.
"You know what? Fine. Be on his side. But when you're close to dying or being injured, don't expect me to help." And with that, I moved away from them searching around the room. And within seconds, the room was silent once again...
