Yeonjun's pov:
"Congratulations! You have passed Secrets Revealed. Fortunately, you have made it out alive!...
SIKE!"
The spikes were lowered all of a sudden and desperate to crush us into a billion little pieces. I heard everyone shouting, "Go, GO!" As I dozed off. "Yeonjun, GO!" Beomgyu roared trying to bring me back to reality. As he tugged my shirt, I turned to see him crouched on the floor,
"BEOMGYU!" I screamed as I realised the spikes were about to make their way into his skull. I pushed him through the small and narrow hatch which shut before the spikes were released. "Don't worry about me, as long as your okay, I'm okay".
"Hyung, no!".
Beomgyu's pov:
I watched him as he sacrificed my life for his own, I held onto his soft hand through the hole in the hatch. I had to be dreaming, this wasn't happening... it couldn't be... "Beomgyu? The spikes are really really close" He laughed through his fear which only hurt me more.
"I-I'm so sorry, it should've been m-me".
"Hey, it's okay. Cheer up. I wouldn't like to spend my last few seconds with tears rolling down your cheeks. You'll always be strong, for me, right?...".
"Y-yes" And with his last few words, I saw blood splatter onto my cold, weak and helpless hand.
I got up trembling, tears flowed down my face like streams of rivers. I buried my head into Huening Kai's chest, wanting to erase the memory but I couldn't... I couldn't believe it... Yeonjun was dead...
