Forgotten: Adeuce AU

𝒞𝒽𝒶𝓅𝓉𝑒𝓇 𝓉𝓌𝑜

Deuce heard the bed creak and it caused him to drag his eyes of the phone screen. The sight of a awake Ace made Deuce's heart skip a beat and make his lips curve into a smile. Ace propped himself up against the back board of the hospital bed and looked at Deuce. Ace waking up was a joyous moment for Deuce until Ace spoke the sentence "Do I know you?".  Deuce's smile dropped and he swore he could feel his heart shatter. The atmosphere of the room feel dark and quite so quite a pin could drop and still be heard. Just as Deuce opened his mouth to explain who he was the door clicked and opened. The other members of Heartslabyul enter the room. Ace greeted everyone, he remembered everyone but why not him? Why could Ace not recall his own boyfriend? Deuce left without saying a word. Ace looked at the others around him and blinked tilting his head'' Who was that anyways?" Ace spoke in a confused tone gaining stares and looks of concern and worry from Cater, Trey and Riddle.

It had been a few weeks since Deuce saw Ace in the hospital but now there was no way of avoiding Ace since he was released from the hospital and was attending school like nothing happened. Deuce would see Ace almost every where and every time it hurt a little more. One day Deuce noticed how close Ace and Riddle had become and he found it strange but he knew he couldn't do anything about it. Who was he to control who Ace is friends with. Deuce played of the twos closeness as nothing much until one day. Deuce was making his way down the hallways to get to class. He saw two blurry  shadowy figures at the end of the hall kissing. Deuce shrugged. Deuce continued to make his way down the hall as he came closer the figures came into shape. There in front of his eyes Ace Bent down a bit placing his lips onto Riddles. The two pulled away and parted ways as Deuces heart fell into thousands of tiny parts as a sick feeling made its way into his stomach. He dashed of to the bathroom. He couldn't face Ace after seeing that but at least Ace was happy right? Yeah. That's all that mattered to Deuce even if Ace wasn't happy with him.
