Graduation was making its way around the corner. Ace and Riddle were still happily together and Deuce's heart hadn't picked its self up. Cater and Trey would watch a shell of Deuce make its way around the dorm. Some tried to cheer Deuce up even Ace not evening knowing he was the reason Deuce felt empty. Ace seemed on edge in the upcoming days near graduation and most people knew why. Riddle would be leaving which would mean a forced break up between the two. Deuce looked forward to their break up but he knew he shouldn't he knew Ace would be devastated but at this point all Deuce wanted was for Ace to at least remember they were friends at one point.
Not too soon later graduation came around the corner and just like that Riddle was gone. Deuce was right Ace was devastated. Deuce wanted to comfort Ace so badly but he felt he couldn't without past memories of the two flowing back uncontrollably. Deuce just ignored the low spirited Ace and hoped someone else would cheer him up instead. Deuce began to notice how Ace would skip classes and club as well. People around began to get worried and so was Deuce. Deuce took a sharp deep breath in once he saw Ace and pushed his feelings away. He genuinely cared for Ace. Deuce felt he was being selfish and refused to let Ace lose his smile. Deuce began to approach Ace hoping he could be of help towards the ginger. Ace and Deuce spent what felt like hours talking and Deuce sat there listening to Ace rant about everything.
