Hoping for safety

Jennifer pov:

I'm currently waiting in the Mendoza's house for Lori and Katie to get back. I knew that Katie was upset and was also on some medication for her anxiety but I never thought it had gotten this bad. I've just finished with my phone call with lily who has Cameron and she said that if Katie wanted to come to get him to bring him home she is welcome to nothing is going to stop her, Katie is Cameron's mother and she knows that. I just hope that Lori can get through to her, me and Lori don't take things personally we know that our kids talk to the others parent because it's also someone who isn't your mom, Lori knows that Alexa has spoken to me over her and I know that Katie has spoken to Lori over me.

I can hear cars going up and down the road and I just wish that Lori would turn into the drive so I can give my daughter a big hug and tell that everything is going to be alright. I see the car and I run out I open the passenger side door and Katie isn't there but Lori seems relaxed somehow.

" where is my daughter Lori" I said harshly and upset.

" come inside I need to speak with you" Lori said calmly.

No ones pov:

As Lori and Jennifer make there way through the front door everyone is shocked to find Katie not with them, while they don't say anything Alexa and Aiden start to assume the worst and break down.

" guys Katie is fine she is shook but she is going to ok she will be home later now I have to speak to Jennifer alone before we speak to all of you" Lori said calmly and reassuringly.

Making their way upstairs Jennifer doesn't know what to think or can even imagine what's going on she just wants her daughter to be happy and safe

"Right I'm going to explain everything but I don't want you to try and but I'm with questions I will answer them all when I'm finished" Lori said " now when i found Katie she was upset she was crying and having another panic attack it took half an hour to calm her down and then she finally started to breathe properly I didn't want to push her so I didn't say anything what she told me was heartbreaking but I can understand why she felt like like. She said that the reason she did it was because she felt like a bad mom to Cameron and that he doesn't want her as his mom I told her that I wasn't try but then she went on to saying that she didn't understand why she and alexa were friends when Alexa could have had another best friend the whole time. Now when she mentioned the hospital I didn't think she would go but she told me that she needed to go to a Dr called Rachel Hudson and that she has been there a few times before I waited in the waiting room but when she came out she looked happier than she has this past week, now I know you want to know where Katie is and she is currently in her way to New York to get Cameron she said that nothing seems to go wrong when she is with him like everything fits into place, she has asked if we can get Cameron's bed into hers for tonight when they land and she brings him home and she also wants us to tell Alexa the whole thing because she doesn't think she can do it, she said Aiden already knows about Cameron and they have spoken to him over FaceTime something about Aiden asked Katie if she ever wanted kids in the future and she broke down and told him everything, but yea that's about it" Lori finished with relief showing.

Jennifer didn't know what to do she was happy that Katie knew what she was doing wasn't healthy and that Cameron was coming home but she was also angry because she wished she could have spoken to her before she got on the plane. Jennifer knew that the whole time Cameron was in new York and when they FaceTimed Katie would break a little more. She just nodded at Lori to say that she understands.

"That make sense I knew she wanted him to come home and she was always more happy when he is with her but the hardest part is going to tell Alexa I mean she is going to think about Bella and also Jackson because we both know it hurts you all as well" Jennifer explained

As they made there way down the stairs they could hear the commotion coming from the living room and as they entered it went quiet all heads turned to them and Lori looked at Dave and nodded while Katie looked at Aiden and nodded.

" Aiden and Dave do you mind setting up the bed in Katie's room please while we speak to Alexa" Jennifer started and both of them said yes knowing that Katie had gone to get Cameron.

"Alexa Katie wanted us to tell you that the last thing she was keeping from you was that she has a 4 year old son called Cameron and that is where Katie has gone to New York to bring him home" Jennifer said without finishing
