Chapter Two - The Chaotic Bus

Deku's PoV: 9:00 am (Sunday)

Chaos!

Utter. Fucking. Chaos!

Over the past hour, Mina stoke my blanket and fell asleep on the floor after her coffee wore off as soon as we left, Denki is already our portable charger, Eijirou's hair is in a little ponytail, courtesy of Denki. And ...Kacchan ...is ...now ...asleep ... ON MY FREAKING SHOULDER! 'Just breathe'

Ochaco is floating a speaker on the ceiling, playing Mina's playlist. It's mainly Cardi B, Doja Cat, Ariana Grande and Billie Eilish but none of us are complaining. Eijirou, Momo and Kyoka are on Animal Crossing, and our food supplies got eaten within the first ten minutes!

Eaten? More like demolished!

UNO is now my arch-nemesis... 'PLUS 14 SERIOUSLY!?' And miraculously, Aizawa hasn't woken up! Nothing gets in between that man and his sleep! After a round of Kaminari karaoke, Mina and Kacchan slowly woke up. What can I say? Denki definitely isn't the quietest in the group.

"What time is it?" A sleepy Mina asked, rubbing her eyes trying to wake herself up more.

"It's only 9:05" I reply, Denki moving his legs so she could sit on the seat.

"And when are we arriving?" She asked, plopping down in between Kacchan and Denki.

Momo, being the organised queen of the group replied, "We're stopping at Mc Gronalds for lunch and we should be at the mansion in time for dinner."

Leaning his head on Eijirous shoulder in annoyance, Denki groaned,"Ughhh! I wish we would just be there already."

"Yeah! That's soooo looong." Mina said copying his movements and laying on his side with a huff.

Kachhan finally awoke enough to join the conversation." More fucking Mc Gronalds for me then." He smirked.

"It shouldn't be too long if we find things to do," I say giggling at my two best friends' reactions.

~ Recap of the past two years ~

Over the past two years, my friend group changed quite a lot. This is why.

Near the end of our first year, the League of Villains attacked UA (once again). They destroyed the first-year dorms and tried to kidnap some of us. Luckily they didn't get a chance. Everyone fought against them and we won, of course. During the attack, Dabi trapped Mina, Denki and I under some debris. We couldn't do anything to get out since Kaminaris quirk wasn't right for the job and both my arms were already broken from helping others out from being trapped. And if your wondering, Mina was very badly injured and couldn't move very much. We all talked, there wasn't very much else we could do to pass the time. Not long after, Mina passed out from blood loss. Denki was able to patch her up enough to keep her alive but nothing great. The three of us got really close after that and when we were pulled out several hours later, we were all basically inseparable! I think that experience really shook us up. Mina almost died in our arms and we never wanted to be apart again in fear of not being there to help.

In the hospital, we demanded to be in the same room or not get treated. It was a bit drastic I know, but we were panicking quite a lot. Mina didn't wake up for another two weeks and Denki and I visited her every day. When she finally woke up and was allowed to leave, we all stayed around at mine considering the dorms were destroyed for a month. If you're wondering why they didn't go home, Mina didn't want to stay at her grandparent's house because they are very homophobic and neglect her, and Denki's parents ignore him because his younger brother is the 'star child'. None of us were complaining, it was great! We only got closer. When we got back into the dorms, we began hanging out together, well and basically living together. I began hanging around with the Bakusquad more, which also meant hanging out with Kachhan too. We became official friends again around halfway through our second year. I was so happy and even he had a small smile on his face afterwards. It was very small but it was definitely there.
