Skye helped me to settle down, pulling out my chair for me, like the gentleman he was. He then sat at his right across from me. In the candlelight, he looked alluring; with his heavy-lidded gaze and the small smile that splayed across his velvety, coral lips.
My cheeks burned with desire, as I met his gaze in a sultry heat. His eyes seemed like deep pools of ocean; they drew me in like a blessed magnet. Feeling a rush of delicious emotion, I tore my gaze from his and stared out at the city.
The city looked beautiful from up here; tiny twinkles of lights winked brightly back at me. The night was cool, and the air, quite chilly. I snuggled deeper into my faux jacket.
"Beautiful, isn't it?" Skye said.
"Yes. It's very beautiful." I answered with a hint of smile.
"But it's beauty is in no comparison, to the one I behold this moment." He said with a suave smile. His eyes bored into mine. I felt my toes curl in my shoes. My face burned once more.
