After crying on Nana Rose's knee, Cheryl ran to her room.
She took out a candle and was about to perform the a spell that would cut off her ties with Toni, that was when Zelda apparated behind her.
Zelda saw the tear stains on her daughter's cheeks, Zelda cleared her throat, "Nice dress…"
Cheryl turns around, "Yeah, prom. Are you really here?" Zelda looks out the window. "Oh okay," Cheryl nodded, "just leave."
Zelda sighs, "What happened, Cheryl?"
"Like you care!" Cheryl snapped.
"I do…" Zelda smiles, "Cheryl, I do care and I know what your thinking… it won't help."
"And how would you know?!"
"Because, I did the same thing after giving you up." Zelda sighs, "It would get rid of the pain for awhile but once it comes back; you'll feel worse: the guilt plus the pain."
Cheryl shook her head.
