*In the previous chapter:

There was a moment of silence before the portrait hissed and opened to reveal an expensively decorated corridor leading to a formal sitting area. They walked in slowly, the teenagers taking in the lavish décor of the place. It was like they had stepped into a completely different house.

The Black twins moved to the middle of the formal sitting room, motioned with their arms around the room and said in unison "Welcome to the real Black Manor."

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hermione thought, from what she had seen, that the hidden Black Manor was completely different from No.12 Grimauld Place. The formal sitting area that they had found themselves in when they had entered the hidden manor had neutral coloured walls with a black couch with golden accents, two loveseats and two armchairs with the same colouring as the couch with gold and green pillows, all of which were around a black and gold coffee table. All around the room there were green and gold ornaments of different sizes and shapes with touches of dark maroon here and there to complete it all. On the opposite wall to the opening of the manor, there was an arched window behind the couch covered by sea green curtains with black and gold accents. All in all, it was not the gothic looking rubbish bin that was Grimauld Place, nor was it the overly expensive and fancy sitting room you would expect from hearing the rumours pertaining to the Noble and Most Ancient House of Black. It was more on the sophisticated side, pristine and clean with hints of the wealth the House of Black was known for, but that wealth wasn't shown outright, either. The informal dining room was done in a similar fashion, with neutral walls, black furniture and green, gold and dark maroon accents.

And that is where Hermione found herself, sitting with her friends, after finding out that their parents weren't the people they thought were their parents, eight presumed dead war heroes who turned out to be on the 'dark' side, one of which was her real mother, a wrongfully accused, escaped mass murderer and a werewolf who just so happened to be her father and ex-DADA professor, in a hidden manor inside another hidden manor.

Yes, Hermione's life has just gotten a lot weirder, as if it hadn't already been weird, she was friends with Harry Potter for Merlin's sake. Hadrian Black-Potter, she corrected herself. She'll need to memorize and get used to all these new changes, not just to her friends' names and parentage but hers as well. Her name is Hermione Marlene McKinnon-Lupin, now. Hmm, she actually liked it way better than Hermione Jean Granger, she thought.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

At the moment, they were all sitting in the informal dining room of the very pristine and sophisticated Black Manor. At the head of the table was Lyra Cassiopeia Black-Potter, Lady of the Noble and Most Ancient House of Black, opposite her sat one of her closest friends, Alexandra Bridget McKinnon-Lupin. On her right was her husband Jameson Charlus Potter, Lord of the Ancient and Most Noble House of Potter, Lillian Caroline Prince-Snape née Evans-Sayre, Lady of the Noble and Ancient House of Sayre, Ginevra Lyra Prince-Snape, Dorcas Meadows-Malfoy, Lady consort of the Ancient and Noble house of Malfoy, Gideon Fredrick Prewett, Co-Lord of the Ancient and Noble House of Prewett and Remus John Lupin. On her left sat her younger twin brother, Sirius Orion Black, Marlene Margaret McKinnon-Prewett, Lady of the Ancient and Most Noble House of McKinnon, George Fabian McKinnon-Prewett, Fredrick Gideon McKinnon-Prewett, Fabian George Prewett, Co-Lord of the Ancient and Noble House of Prewett and Hermione Marlene McKinnon-Lupin.

After they got settled, they started planning and making preparations. They started with how they would hide from the order of fried chicken, and decided that the presumed dead people would stay in the hidden Black Manor and transform it into their base of operation. To not arouse suspicion while staying to help their family and friends, Remus would pretend to be busy, only appearing at random times and during order meetings, while Sirius would pretend to be staying in his room, depressed but would actually be in the manor, helping and would only show his face during dinner. The teenagers would have to stay downstairs to not prompt any questions, but after dinner they would all go to the manor to help their families and their friends.

To get everyone that was involved in the previous war who had been obliviated and/or compulsed to the manor, their friends, family members, comrades and leader, they decided to send anonymous letters to them that would also work as a word-activated portkey to Black Manor, and upon their arrival, Lyra would instantly remove the charms on them.

After talking for a little longer, they realised that a lot of time had passed and the teenagers reluctantly said their goodbyes to their families and followed Sirius and Remus back to Grimauld place.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And that was how their days went. The teenagers would clean with Molly and Ronald, pretending that they were actual family, eat dinner with the present order members and then go plan how to take down that same order's leader at night with their real family. Sirius stayed at Black Manor and was only seen during dinner, where he sat quietly eating and only talked to the teens, Remus or his cousin Tonks, if they were eating with them. Remus, on the other hand, only showed up once a week at most. He pretended he was busy with work and order business, while he was actually in the hidden manor helping his wife and friends with their plans.

A week after the presumed dead wizards and witches were 'resurrected', they started the first step of their plans and sent out the letters to everyone involved.
