I walked along the dirt trail for an afternoon walk to get some exercise. It was a warm afternoon. The morning had been blistering hot but with the incoming breeze, it felt much nicer. I hummed to myself as I continued down the path till I heard a sound.

"Mew!" I looked down and there was a kitten with white paws, small ears, large round eyes and grey-tan striped fur. Her tail curled back and forth as she brushed against my leg. I smiled.

"Hey there little guy....Aw aren't you sweet!" I cooed. I stroked under his ears and he began to purr loudly. I chuckled and scooped him up.

"I think we might have some cream or fish for you to eat. I also know someone who would love to meet you." I said carrying him back to the manor. I went through the servants entrance and into the kitchen and then I set the kitty down on the floor.

"Wait right here." I said going to grab an animal food bowl. I set it down on the floor and went for Sebastian's secret stash of cat kibble. I added some bits of fresh fish and mixed it into the bowl. I set it on the floor in front of the kitty.

"There you go." Not a moment later I heard Sebastian come in.

"Did I hear a mew, (Y/N)." He asked raising his brow. I smiled and nodded.

"Yep. See for yourself!" I stepped aside to reveal the little fluff ball I brought in, now munching on food. Sebastian gasped. He came over to the kitty and watched him eat.

"Ooooh I can't wait to pet you. That fur, so soft looking! Those paws oh so supple, I could die." He cooed. I laughed to myself. It was funny how all it took was a cat to make him go into child mode.

"(Y/N), Sebastian! The young master got an invitation, yes he did! All of us are invited to a ball!" Mey-Rin exclaimed from the doorway.

"I see, who was the invitation from?" I asked. Mey-Rin thought for a second.

"Let's see, I think it was Lord Trancy?" As the words escaped her mouth, Sebastian growled. I looked at him stunned.

"The boy from that day at the beach?" I asked. She nodded.

"He likes to challenge the young master he does!" She said. I nodded in understanding.

"So I take it we're going because Ciel never likes to back away from a challenge?" I asked. Sebastian sighed.

"Indeed we must. Though, I do wish him and his thieving butler would leave us all be..." he holds the kitty, clearly trying to forget his troubles and stay calm.
