hunter exam

I'm not gonna write anything smutty....yet

I sigh while we head towards the next hunter exam area-an island. "These tests are too easy" I say under my breath .
Everything was going smoothly so far, and I was just waiting to get this over with, however, I've been feel as though someone was watching me.
It started at the beginning of the exam but I still don't have any idea who this mystery person is. I didn't mind it at all, as they haven't done anything so far.

We all crowded around the instructors to hear the rules of this stage.
"Get 6 points by the end? Easy enough" I say to myself, as I scope out the people around me- the enemies.
My eyes land on one blond guy,our eyes meet for a split second before he looks away, back at one of his friends-a small boy wearing green.

The exam started.

I rushed into the dense forest, trying to find my target so I could be done with this as soon as possible.
It was harder than I thought, where was that damn target?!

(Time skip)
I had been walking for a couple hours now and so far collected some random persons' tag - she got in my way.
I decided to lower my guard for a while and look around.

Right when I relaxed, something-a dart- flew from the corner of my eye. I dodged it, but it grazed my shoulder a little, just enough to draw blood.

I jumped back, ready to fight. When someone else jumped between us and quickly disposed of the attacker while taking his tag.
It was the blondie from earlier!

"I could take him myself, I dont need your help!" I yelled at him, annoyed that he assumed I needed help.

"That's no was to talk to your hero, is it?" He replied smugly. "I'm kurapika, you?"

"Y/n," I said, rolling my eyes," anyways, bye, dont talk to me." I said giving him a cold look while walking away. Suddenly my head felt light, and everything started spinning- the dart was poisoned! My legs gave out and I fell into unconsciousness.

(Time skip)

My head hurt like hell, what happened?
"Ugh.." I groaned trying to sit up, only to be met by the roof of a cave and a blond boy- Kurapika, was it?

"Dont sit up too fast, give yourself some time to heal, y/n" he said, concerned.
My shoulder was already bandaged, did he do that?

I was in too much pain to protest. But I realised something- he was the guy, the one I felt following and staring at me!
I backed away from him, suspicious of why he was doing that.

" why were you following me?" I asked straightforward, he had an amused look on his face.
"You noticed, huh?" He replied
"Obviously, answer the question!" I demanded
He complied, " alright, you were just to beautiful to let slip away, I wanted to keep an eye on you, princess" (I know he probably doesn't talk like this, but a girl can dream)

" cut the bs" I told the man.

"Its the truth, I wanted to make sure you were safe, sweetie" he replied, winking.

A blush bloomed on my face and I looked down, as that caught me by surprise. Kurapika reached out his hand and lightly grabbed my chin, making me face him. He brought his face closer, I could feel his hot breath against my skin. He looked really hot from close.

Kurapika chuckled and moved farther away,leaving me oddly disappointed.
He stood up and offered me a hand.
"You better pass, I'll be waiting, y/n" he said walking out the cave, waving goodbye.

"O- ofcourse, don't underestimate me!" I shouted back. Did I just stutter?
