As the dou walked to the docks. The someone in the shadows continued to watch.

Waiting to make their move.

And that's when someone hit their back.

"Eep!" The someone looked behind them. Once they noticed who it was they started slapping at the person. "You idiot you could've blown my cover!"

"You're going to blow your own cover if you're not careful." The other person smiled and pointed at the short boy with the blond streak.

Nishinoya looked around was there someone talking?

"What is it Yū?" Hinata asked turning to the libero.

"Nothing just thought I heard something..." Noya turned back to the ginger as they continued to the docks.

"So what's this piece of?" Hinata asked as he swung his arms behind his back leaning forward just slightly to be in Noya's line of vision before swinging back to his normal walking posture.

"Oh, its song related piece..." Nishinoya said getting a little more nervous. Hinata was adorable and Nishinoya almost couldn't contain the affection he felt for this boy. Almost.

"Oh cool!"

The two someones followed just out of sight.
"Are you sure that's the guy? He seems kinda... small." The second person asked.

"Oh yeah, it is. I'd recognize the horrendous hairstyle anywhere." The first said getting a quizzical look from the other. "What?"

"Uh, Makasu... You have frosted tips that look way worse than how he normally styles his hair."

"Shut up nerd." Makasu punched the other boy. "Little shit."

"Ow stop-" the other rubbed his shoulder. He stuck his tongue out at Makasu.

"Oh shut up Chīsana. You're being too fucking loud."

Chīsana rubbed his arm some more.

That's when they heard a gasp.

"Noya you did this!?" Hinata gasped looking at what looked like him with a scribbled out face.

It was the piece Noya did before when he heard Shoyo say he liked him.

"Yeah." Nishinoya had felt like his face was on fire.

Hinata took the pictures again.

"Hey, why do you take two?" Yū asked. "Don't you only need one?"

Hinata flushed. "Oh uh... I sorta have this corkboard of polaroids in my room that are just a bunch of pictures of your art." Shoyo let out a nervous laugh.

"Oh... Wait really!?" Nishinoya grabbed Shoyo and sat him down on the docks. "Sho... how long have you liked my art?" He sat down next to the ginger as he talked. His face getting warmer by the second.

"About four months..." Hinata was blushing now.

Nishinoya hugged the first year nuzzling his face into the other's neck. A warm happy feeling coming over him. Hinata hugged back slightly confused and leaned into the libero's hair, grabbing at Noya's shirt as if he would float away if he hadn't had something grounding him.

Nishinoya slowly loosened the embrace. Looking at Hinata's face and before he could think. He kissed the taller boy on the cheek. Making Hinata blush. Shoyo got a dizzying feeling. He touched the spot where Noya's lips met his skin. He had a tingling sensation in his fingertips that almost felt like he was being surged with electricity. "Noya..." Hinata said his voice just above a whisper.

"Oh no I-I'm sorry I-" before he could finish the sentence he watched as Hinata leaned forward slightly, and pecked Noya on the cheek. Both boys broke into a smile.

Noya hugged Hinata again. This time instead of hiding his face in the sunshine boy's neck he opted for the ginger's hair. He breathed in the smell of oranges and vanilla filling his lungs almost giving him sensory overload. His hands slowly found their way to the orange locks and started running through them.

"This feels nice..." Hinata said into Nishnoya's shoulder. Noya could feel the other's flushed face. Oh god, did he want to kiss him so badly.

"Yeah, it is," Noya said still running his fingers through the spiker's hair. "Your hair is really soft." He mumbled against the taller's head.

Hinata just hummed enjoying the attention. He wrapped his arms tighter around Nishinoya's waist. He liked the way the shorter felt in his arms.

"I like you sho..." Nishinoya murmured into the spiker's hair just loud enough so only he would hear.

"I know," Hinata said shifting his face from the libero's shoulder to his neck his lips just brushing against the other's skin. "I like you too Yū."

He couldn't take this anymore. "I- shoyo I wan-" he got interrupted by his phone buzzing.

He looked at the message.

His face turned pale, and his eyes widened in fear.

"We need to leave." He said grabbing at Hinata's hand.

"Wait what? Why?" Shoyo asked confused and almost sad.

"I'll tell you later," Nishinoya said grabbing his bag and running to the end of the docks.

But they were stopped by two boys.

"Or he could tell you right now," Makasu smirked. The two laughed and stepped closer to Noya and Hinata.

"Hey, leave him out of this." Nishinoya held an arm out in front of Shoyo protecting him from the other two.

"Whatever you say Thunder," Chīsana said quickly stepping behind Noya and Hinata. Grabbing the ginger by his arms and pulling him away from Nishinoya.

"Shoyo!"

He suddenly felt a fist hit his face. He stumbled back from the force of the blow.

"Shit..." Nishinoya straightened himself. Looking back to Hinata. He looked scared, his arms being held behind his back by Chīsana. Yū shot him a look that said everything will be just fine. "Cheap shot Maka-chan."

"Don't call me that short stack," Makasu said walking towards Yū with a glare. "And there aren't any cheap shots. If you're so worried about your boyfriend maybe we should just make sure he'll never be yours right?" He looked at Chīsana with a smirk and back at Nishinoya.

Nishinoya felt the rage bubble inside him. Like hot acid burning through the concrete.

Before he knew it Noya kicked Makasu where the sun doesn't shine and punched him in the face. "TOUCH HIM AND YOU'RE DEAD!"

Chīsana let go of the spiker to go help his friend but was evidently knocked to the ground by the boy.

Hinata ran to Noya and grabbed his arm trying to stop him from hitting Makasu again. "Yū stop he's had enough!" He yelled.

Nishinoya looked at Hinata about to yell, but his face softened. He set Makasu on the ground and grabbed Hinata's hand.

"Let's go." He said intertwining his fingers with Hinata's causing the butterflies in his stomach to start bouncing off the walls.

"Okay," Hinata replied.

The boys then ran off.

Chīsans got up from the ground and ran to Makasu. "Kasu, are you alright?" He asked frantically as he picked up his friend and leaned him against an alley wall.

"I'm fine," Makasu said wiping some blood from his nose. "That bastard is gonna fucking pay."
