"Are you ready?" Hanta stood beside you atop your apartment complex, both his hands clutching yours gently as he transitioned his grip into a gentle tug for you to move. Your hair blew against the breeze, looking down at the street below, your heart pounding from the adrenaline quickly pitting in your gut.
"But what if-," You cut yourself off, your words tumbling down your throat as you lost grip of them on your tongue. At that, you looked away from the sheer drop and back to your friend with a thick gulp. "What if you drop me?"
"Hey, it's okay," Hanta's smile grew. "I'd catch you if that ever happened,"
"So you're saying there's a chance?!" You exclaimed. The words betrayed Hanta's reassurance, his almond-shaped eyes blinking rapidly in a panic to the fact he might have worsened the situation. He proceeded to laugh awkwardly, shaking his head as his hands glided up your arms and rested on your shoulders.
