The combination of the eras of the boys taken by the author is absolutely breathtaking. Like, Calum curls + Ashton Youngblood era + flat hair lip ring Luke + Michael perfection I can't you guys-

One thing I don't get is how the main character, Alina, remembers a random guy who bumped into her on the street two years later? Either both of them have like, freakishly good face memory (is that a thing?) or it was just a coincidence. I'm leaning more towards the latter, but whatever floats you boat, goat.
Leaving all the details aside, it is a beautifully written story, with a beautiful plot. Very different than what I had expected, and away from the 'asshole Luke' thing. The girl, Macy, reminds me of Mindy Kaling for some reason and I just can't stop myself from imagining her. The language is kept simple, and it is unique how a small encounter plays a huge role in the coming chapters. The friendship shown between the boys and the girls is beautiful as well, and it's a good break from the cliche plots.
P.S- Check out her other book, BLUE, it has some really awesome plots.
