Meanwhile, in Ooarai, the Automotive Club is finished converting the Panzer IV from Ausf.D to Ausf.F2 using the longer gun barrel found last epsiode. The restored Renault B1 bis is crewed by members of the Public Morals Committee; Midoriko Sono, Moyoko Gotou and Nozomi Konparu, who join the Sensha-dō club as the newly formed Mallard Team. The student council invites Miho Nishizumi to have dinner with them, as they have something important to share; however, they avoid the elephant in the room, and Miho leaves without learning anything. At the Nishizumi house, Shiho Nishizumi announces her intentions to disown Miho, prompting Maho Nishizumi to take her to observe Ooarai in the coming semi-final match.
Yukari: It's looks a lot like the F2 now, doesn't it?
Midoriko Sono: The Public Morals Committee is going to participate too from now on.
Miho: Okay, Mallard team it is.
Midoriko Sono: What? She going to be teaching me? Don't get cocky just because your grades are good.
Mako: Okay. So you wanna learn it on your own from a textbook?
