The untold story behind my smiles. < Oneshot>

THE UNTOLD STORY BEHIND THOSE SMILES.

"Hi Klare! Saya natin ah!" The older batches greeted me as I walk on the hallways of our building. I greeted them back and smiled.

As usual, maraming bumabati sakin pero hindi mawawala yung mga nagbubulung-bulungan habang nakatingin sakin.

I just ignored them. Because I'm not that brave to defend myself.

My father was a former mayor of this city, he was a good father to us. He was not really a good leader. Maraming galit sa pamilya namin dahil sakanya, it didn't make me hate him though. Even when he died, the anger of the people remained.

"Oyy! Good mood na naman tayo ah!" Bungad saakin ni davin pagkapasok ko palang ng aming silid.

"As always!" si chloe. " Kaya nga Emerald's sunshine eh!" she chuckled. I just shrugged.

Emerald is our section, tinawag nila akong 'emerald's sunshine' kasi lagi daw akong nakangiti. Little did they know, there is something behind these smiles.

"You're so pretty klare, and even prettier when you smile" ani Jaxon. My seatmate.

I arched my brow and chuckled "Bolero! Tigilan mo nga ako" I replied.

"Seriously. Ang ganda mo talaga!"

Nginitian ko lang siya at ibinaling ang atensyon sa librong binabasa.

"Good morning emerald!" The voice of our professor echoed. We all stood up and greeted her too.

"Good morning miss Garcia!"

"Okay. Sit down"

The discussion went on, then Miss Garcia declared that we are going to have an oral recitation. She called us one by one and i couldn't help but tremble. She is one of the terror professors here, and she's also mad at my family. Parang lagi niya akong pinagiinitan.

"Miss Fuentes, stand up" strikto niyang saad.

Nakangiti akong tumayo ng matuwid habang nakatingin sakanya. Mata sa mata.

I've seen her muttered something before asking me.

"Can you give me your own definition of matter?" She asked.

I breathed deeply and answered confidently. "Matter is anything that occupies space and it has a mass, it is also the pillar of physicality and the front shadow of every energies constracted along the dynamic of space and time and its also the measure of everything that exists"

Akala ko tapos na pero hindi pa. Pinagiinitan talaga ako neto!

"How about the state of matter?"

"The state of matter refers to the fixed condition of matter which may be affected by the temperature and also by the pressure"

"How about the phase of matter?"

"The phase of matter refers to the distinct characteristics of matter which can be separated mechanically"

After I answered her questions, some of my classmates clapped and some of them just rolled their eyes.

"That should do it" Miss Garcia said.

The day went on and on. After a few hours, our last period dismissed. Lumapit saakin si Chloe habang nagliligpit ako ng gamit. Bigla niya akong niyakap.

"Naku Lare! How to be you! Ang talino mo. How come top 7 kalang? Eh mas matalino kapa dun sa Pascual na yun!" She said, pertaining to our top 1. Alam ko naman kung bakit, kasi galit saamin ang nga teacher ko. So dinadamay nila yung grades ko.
