The next morning, Aria woke up early. She had always been a morning person, and typically woke up when the sun rose. She hadn't expected to see anyone awake at 5 in the morning, but as she walked towards the bathrooms, she encountered Agent May doing Tai-Chi.
"Good morning," she greeted. Agent May gave her a nod.
"Breakfast is in the kitchen," she said, her voice curt. Aria thanked her, and after brushing her teeth and changing into a fresh set of SHIELD issue clothing, walked over to the kitchen. She grabbed a spoon from the counter and poured out a bowl of cheerios. She quickly finished her breakfast and timidly walked over to where Agent May was.
"Agent May," she said, "I was wondering when we were going to pick up my belongings from my house?"
"We'll leave at 8. For now, you can watch something on the TV in your bunk, or find Skye. I'm sure she's awake."
Aria nodded her assent. She walked down to Skye's med-pod. Luckily for her, Skye had just woken up.
"Wow, I'd have thought a kid like you would be sleeping in!" Skye said, in lieu of a good morning.
"I'm a morning person," Aria explained. The two of them chatted a bit (actually, Skye did most of the talking) and they created a list of items Aria would need to bring from her house. Aria learned that Agent Ward was Skye's Supervising Officer, or SO, and that Agent May was really good at fighting, and that there was a prank war going on between the members of the team ever since Agent May pranked Fitz with shaving cream. Aria was surprised that the stoic Agent May would be the first one to play a prank, but Skye told her that May was actually the most talented at it out of everyone on the team.
"Maybe you could help Fitz-Simmons and me with our next prank! They would never suspect you, and I'll have an alibi. What do you say?" Skye asked.
Aria enthusiastically agreed. "What are you thinking?" she asked. Skye quickly gave a rundown of the prank, which included lots of glitter and balloons.
"Ask Fitz to give you a comm, and then I can keep an eye on the surveillance cameras from my computer. I'll let you know if anyone appears," Skye said. "Fitz-Simmons recently invented a device for this very purpose. They're kind of salty about Agent May being able to foil all their plans, so we decided to team up." Her voice lowered to a whisper. "We're going to fill up her room with glitter filled balloons. All you have to do is place the device in Agent May's room somewhere she won't easily find it."
"That's absolutely genius," Aria told Skye, smiling widely. "If she tries to pop the balloons, she'll get a face full of glitter!"
"Exactly!" Skye exclaimed happily.
"What if we get caught, though?" Aria said worriedly. She didn't have much experience with pranks.
"If you get caught, which is super unlikely, AC and May wouldn't get mad. We've convinced AC to consider this as a 'team bonding activity.' May's definitely going to prank us back if it works, though. What's more likely, though, is if May doesn't acknowledge it at all," Skye told her. "She's somehow able to escape all of my attempts. The only person who has actually succeeded in pranking her is Coulson, and even that only happened once. This is already my 57th attempt at pranking her."
Aria grinned. "That's some rock solid determination," she praised. They planned on doing the prank that evening, so Skye sent her off to see Fitz before leaving.
"Go!" Skye said. "And don't let May see you, or she'll suspect something's up!"

Aria went to Fitz-Simmons and got some sort of fancy scientific communicator thing that was encoded to her DNA. It seemed very cool, and according to Simmons, it was the top grade communication device used in SHIELD at the moment. Fitz-Simmons had tried to explain to her how it worked, but for all her interest in science, she was unable to decipher the intricacies of the device. Fitz-Simmons were delighted to hear that she'd be helping them with their prank.
