weeks went by and louis and harry hadn't said a word to each despite being in the same house niall would occasionally ask harry if he was ok. It was up until louis and eleanor had made the news that harry was fine not talking to louis, harry barged into louis room and said "i need and explanation louis" louis was surprised he hadn't heard  harry talk to him in what felt like years hearing harry say his name was weird to him it sounded almost foreign. "harry..i" "look louis i don't want lies i just want to know why" "harry..." louis didn't know what to say he couldn't say the truth and but the only other option was to lie and hurt the love of his life. "what do you mean im with eleanor" hearing those words come out of his mouth not only broke harry but broke louis,  "why though what happened to you and i" louis took a deep breath knowing what he was about to say would hurt him forever "harry there was never a you and i you were just an experiment a fling" louis almost choked on his words knowing it was killing harry it burned him to say it but that was the only way for harry to be free. "then why, why say all of those things me... why even kiss me at all" harry says angry wiping a tear from his face "look harry i can't talk about this i have to meet-" harry cut him off by saying "eleanor i know" louis walked past harry who was standing in the doorway and almost smiled because that was the closest he had been to harry in such a long time he cherished the smell of harry's cologne knowing he wouldn't smell that close again. 

"hey" louis says as he sits down with eleanor "hi" eleanor says they sit in silence for a bit before louis speaks "look i don't really know how to do this the whole*louis whispers* fake dating thing" "louis just dont think of it as fake just do what you would do on a normal date" louis tried to take her advice but he knew he would never be able to fully commit and he knew he couldn't be mad at eleanor or harry he could only be mad at himself for being selfish and thinking that he could finally be happy. louis and eleanor walked around the town going in and out of shops as paparazzi took pictures of them. by the time louis got hime there were already 50 articles on him and eleanor louis shut them all off not wanting to read what they were saying because whatever it was wasn't the truth. "louis" liam asked walking into louis room "hey" louis said sitting up from his bed "what happened" liam asked "what do you mean" "i mean with you and harry"  louis eyes widened "i don't know what your talking about" louis said defensively "louis the whole world knows you two are in love with each other my question is what happened with you two one second you guys are love birds the next you're dating someone else" louis looked down at the ground thinking of how hurt harry must be "its complicated liam" he says in an attempt to get liam to leave "then explain it to me" liam says as he sits beside louis on the bed. louis could no longer hold it together it was to much pain suddenly the tears came and they didnt stop liam pulled him in close to comfort him and louis says between breathes "i really love him li" " i know" liam says as he continues to comfort louis.
