Everyone except for Namjoon was in front of the school, going to our secret hideout. After waiting for a while for him, we decided to head to where we usually hang out. We wondered where he was but guessed he would be coming later or tomorrow.

As the doors to the storage room opened, we knew something was off immediately. On one of the windows, there was writing on it. It said, 'We must survive,' what?

"Why does it say 'We must survive' on the window?" A curious Jimin asked.

"I don't know. Someone left it, maybe Namjoon?" Hoseok replied.

"Does that mean something? Like did he leave us?" Taehyung wondered.

"We don't know yet, but I'm sure we will find out soon," I reassured the rest.

Only the bare minimum of information was known about Namjoon's personal life. He told very little about it and nothing more. There was a silence in my head throughout the day. I couldn't think clearly and had a hard time concentrating. Questions were racing in my thoughts, such as, 'What does the writing mean?', 'Where is Namjoon?', and 'What happened to him?'. The most important question was, 'Will he come back?'.

We all went to our morning classes, sometimes passing by each other and asking whether we'd seen Namjoon. He probably decided to skip school this one day, he'll be back soon, or so I would like to believe. I was so distracted during the day by the nagging thoughts I had about Namjoon. To clear my mind, I decided to look at the scenery outside the window. The classroom was as hot as an oven because there were no air conditioners, only windows that we could open with permission. Most students were pretty-much sweating bullets, especially since it was during the summer.

The core classes that all students had to take were language, arithmetic, and science. Classes like physical education and secondary language were optional, like clubs. Due to the school being small, only one floor, there aren't many classrooms, clubs, or opportunities. At maximum, there are about 100 - 200 students, which is a minuscule amount of students for an elementary to high school. The only reason I stayed at the school instead of switching to a better quality one is that I don't like having to transfer schools unless I have to. Also, I don't like using money as a way to get into better schools, not illegally, but as in, I didn't want to be a spoiled person. Plus, I don't think I would fit well into schools like those anyways.

All these years of being at the school weren't worth it and didn't teach much, but at least in my last year, I was able to meet the six boys who have changed how I live at school. They might be a pain to be around or take care of them as the older person, but they make school something to look forward to.

I was suddenly reminded of an event when I was younger. A boy named Choi was in my elementary class. I didn't think much of him until I started befriending him. He was self-kept but had a soft to him that he showed to me. One day, he asked if he could stay at my house, kind of like having a sleep-over. I agreed to his request and traveled with him to my house. My father allowed him to stay overnight for as long as he wanted to because he was my friend. Suddenly, during the day after, a few men came to our house looking for Choi. Choi was scared and didn't want to go with the men, so I begged my father not to let them know of him. He let them in. After that day, I never heard of Choi again. Remembering this memory made me slightly depressed.

I'm sure Namjoon will come back, he's like a brother to us, and we can't imagine losing him. His leave caused the rest of us a bit of sadness. We hope he is doing well, though. For me, I just hope luck is on our side, but only time will tell.

Hi, here's another update for you. It's a bit shorter because there wasn't much to write about in this chapter. Maybe it will be longer when I edit and fix the chapters when I can. The length of chapters can vary, anywhere from thousands of words to only a few hundred, but I try my best to make them long. Anyways, please look forward for future chapters!
