A/n- twenty one by Khalid. My timeline was really fucked up, I had the fight between Grindelwald and Dumbledore happen all the way after the golden trio was born.

We walked down long corridors before we reached an old, dusty wall. I looked at my Professor in confusion is this some secret wall like the one in Diagon Alley? Because that seemed unoriginal I wondered if it was some secret trap door that could only be opened by students of this house.

"Now, Miss Granger this is the Merlin dormitory. You will have to cut your finger and smear it upon the walls if you wish to invite friends you will need to develop a further method of which ahead of Merlin will teach you." She explained my eyebrows furrowed.

"Who is the head of Merlin?" I asked

She sighed. "The contents of whoever lies inside is unknown, nobody has ever been inside except for Grindelwald and Le Fray, who has never disclosed what happens. I will be waiting outside here when classes start. Here is your schedule." She handed me a piece of paper which I just folded deciding I was going to take a look later.

I cut my finger on the wall and it smeared opening a door, the inside was completely dark. I could tell the professor wanted to venture inside and I would tell just leave inside but I trusted her, plus I would want someone to tell me what everything is.

"Thank you, Professor McGonagall. I will allow you to accompany me if you swear to not tell anyone what's inside." I put my wand up as it was an oath, she seemed delighted.

"I, Minerva McGonagall, Deputy Headmistress of Hogwarts, and Lady of the noble house of McGonagall, Solemnly swear to never divulge into what lies inside the Merlin Tower."

"I, Hermione Nightwing, Heir of the noble and ancient house of Nightwing, Rosier, and Black. Accept your oath." I then, promptly, walked inside with Minerva following.

We were lead down dark corridors that held green radiating from them

We were lead down dark corridors that held green radiating from them.

"I see Slytherin was a little bias" I commented with a small smile, my professor snickered. To be honest, it was beautiful. The way the light glistened upon the rocks was a magnificent sight I could see rows and rows of paintings but unlike the ones I noticed next to the Great Hall they were alive, they were just paintings of fruit and people, muggle paintings. Which stunned Professor McGonagall.
