I went into my bedroom, carrying a few journals with me I guess I needed to hide a few things before my friends came in. I trusted them, but this knowledge was solely for me, I guess I was some type of heir or something I don't really know what it means but I'll find out.I walked to bed I saw Crookshanks my cat he was so cute. The pet shop owner said nobody wanted him but I loved the way his grumpy face showed intelligence, cats were very intelligent creatures and Crookshanks was very smart and functioned on his own.
"I'm sorry for not coming to visit you earlier, Crookshanks. Do you like my quarters? I'm the very first witch that has been in House Merlin for ages. I think it's a sort of achievement, Crookshanks. I don't really know what do when my friends come in, I'm going to have to steer them away from the library. Anyways I'm going to sleep." I put my pillows down at smiled at my cat. He suddenly tapped me and ran off. My eyebrow raised he's never done that before.
I decided to follow him. Crookshanks walked down long halls, ushering me along until we got to a secret entrance. I smeared my blood onto the walls and the wall opened to show a green sewer-like place.
My eyes widened and I walked forward. Crookshanks walked on the small bridge to avoid the water. I saw a snake I graced on the door that was pouring with water. I didn't really know what to do, I tried to use my blood but it didn't work I wondered slightly about Salazar Slytherin while Crookshanks just watched me patiently.I remembered the man was a parselmouth but I wondered if I could speak it. I leaned and concentrated on the words I wanted to speak.
"Openssss." The words fluttered from my mouth and the door opened it was a tunnel I didn't really like closed spaces but Crookshanks just walked on. I raised my eyebrow and crawled inside, crawling on my knees until I saw a light. I saw a huge room.
I remembered reading about this in 'Hogwarts:A history' but I never really thought it existed I'm guessing Slytherin wanted those in house Merlin to be sort of a apprentice of his even after he died. I noticed the large mouth they also said it held a horrible creature I briefly wondered what that could be.I walked over to the books and picked up one. 'The 101 of Parselmouth Magic' I shrunk it and put it in my pocket. I noticed Crookshanks wondering around. I couldn't help but almost drool over the unlimited sections of books I shoved them all into my pocket there was just so much to learn! I noticed a few other special things, magical artifacts. Blood Quills and all that stuff I grabbed a few maybe they'll be useful I was very interested in the study of Egyptian curses, those were the trickiest to undue so would be something I would use more.
"foodddd...killlll...eatsss." My eyes widened as I glanced around I saw my cat running behind the bookcase. It was a giant serpent that I recognized as the King among snakes. I was too late and I looked at it's deadly glaze but something strange happened I didn't die nor was I paralyzed we just stared at each other.
"Isss amss Hermioness." I spoke the snake tilted it's head. "Speakersss...suprisesss...welcomesss." The snake nodded it's head toward me.
"Foodsss...eatsss." It looked at my cat and I quickly shook my head. "Nosss eatss. Isss Findsss
foodsss." The giant snake nodded again and continued on it's way, slithering over to the corridors as her skin slowly started to shed."That was pretty cool, wasn't it?" I smirked at my cat while he just patted my leg as if saying no I laughed at the intelligent cat before grabbing him and walking out. I think I'd had enough.
When I stepped inside my room I was greeted with an extremely attractive woman sitting on my bed I couldn't help but blush. She smirked up at me.
"Hello, Hermione Nightwing." I eyed her curiously. "Hello, Madame." I cautiously sat on my bed. "There is no need to fear me. I will not harm you, little heir." I gave her a confused look she knew about me being the heir?
"Yes, okay. Who are you exactly? What is this...heir business?" She smiled kindly.
"You are very like me when I was young..." she looked very distant before staring back at me.
"I am Morgan Le Fray. I am here to teach you. You will soon come to find answers to many questions but for now, it would do you well to be quiet and listen." Her tone was strict and I stiffly nodded, I believed her if she wasn't who she said she was she couldn't have gotten inside of here.
"Yes, Madame."
"Good. You have manners, unlike Gellert when he came here." She rolled her eyes and there was a soft meow from Crookshanks I looked at them in confusion.
"You will learn the basics of magic to the very advanced. My knowledge will be used to help you to the fullest extent and you will fulfill the prophecy." I raised my eyebrow but remained silent. "Any questions, pupil?" I nodded I decided to start off easy.
"How are you here? Are you a ghost or a living embodiment of Morgan but not truly her." I questioned slowly. "No. I am she. I am forced to stay alive for eternity until I fulfill my purpose. Then I am allowed to choose whether I wish to move on." She says simply I nodded gradually.
"What is the prophecy?" She smirked.
She thought for a second before responding.
"I know not of the full prophecy but I know a girl will be born as the ninth month dawns. The prophecy states you will be the one to complete our mission. You will take the world and rule it with an iron fist. You..." She abruptly stopped and my eyes widened as I tried to process what she had said.
"Go. Your professor and...friends await you." I hurriedly waved my wand as my closes appeared on my body. I opened the door and saw Draco, Pansy, Daphne, Blaise, Theo, Crabbe, Goyle, and Minerva. I smiled at them.
"Hello, friends." I greeted "Sup 'Mione we came with Professor McGonagall. Let's go to class mate." Draco grabbed my hand rather forcefully I froze a bit and just let him.
"No hand-holding. Mr. Malfoy." Minerva gave him a cold stare he huffed slightly but let my hand go I smiled at Minerva and she gave me a nod.
