"Ahmad Akthins Akrad Asksalaam Jr!"

"You told mama?" I whispered.

"Um yeah im the family's attorney." She said laughing.

Sakra Malina Asksalaam is my outspoken, strong minded mother. Who disagrees with everything in my life except football.

"Have you lost your everlasting mind!"

"Hello to you to mother."

"Don't hello mother me. What is this i hear about you befriending a convicted felon!"

"Ma she's not a felon."

"Nawl im pretty sure she's a felon."

My older sister Alar said walking behind my mother. She is a pain but i love her.

"Seed of hell is here." I said.

"Don't you change the subject boy ! Who is she?!" My mother said slapping me across the head.

"larine give us a second." I said looking at her.

"I was leaving anyway." she said walking out.

"Yeah brother tell us." My sister said following her.

See explaining things to my people ain't always green so i just choose not to tell them.

"ma she was just a friend in need." I said.

"She was in jail for a drug charge."

"And she's a stripper."

"Will you shut up!"

"Make me."

"Both of you shut up. Ahmad baby please rethink what you are doing. She is a convicted felon, who you barely know." She said to me.

"I do know her mom." I said getting up.

"Oh so a week in the harlem and you think you know a person." Alar said.
