"Beep, beep, beep" ... "Beep, beep, beep"
Slamming my hand down on top of the small black clock, groaning, i pulled myself up from the warmth and comfort of my bed. Shuffling slowly and lazily over to my wardrobe, much like a sloth; i threw on my uniform, a navy green short sleeve t-shirt, green and brown camo trousers paired with an identical jacket, green beret and army boots. Femininity camouflaged; I'm my dad in this uniform.
"Today's the day" I whispered to myself. I sighed as i pulled my tags over my head. They hung loosely around my neck; my name 'ALEXA MORGAN' carved into the small piece of metal. A tear ran down my face. The other tag? 'ANDREW MORGAN'; I missed him so much. My brown hair cascaded down my back before being gathered up and placed tightly into a ponytail. All of my feminine feature hidden behind dauntless and sinew.
Today i engage with the enemy.
