(( hey guys I'm gonna make it to where your on the ship for 5 days rather then one so I can get the full effect of the story in. Bare with me and tell me what you think.)

He was just sitting there, starring emotionless at the wall.
His back ramrod straight, his features chiseled like a stone.

A silence filled the air, growing the pain inside you worse and worse as it bleed threw your veins.

You wanted to talk to him, you wanted to say hello, you wanted to ask him about that day, and the years that fallowed.

But to him you where no longer (y/n) to him you where just a crew member. Just a gard, who he had no idea was his lost love.

" are you going to continue to stare at me?" A voice boomed threw the air, you realized you had been standing in front of the glass staring at him for quite some time.

"Uh, oh no I'm sorry." You replied backing away and gazing at the ground.

"Name?" He asked in a stern voice.
You looked up.

"Why?" You asked a little confused you hope he wasn't trying to pick up girls.

"Because I'm going to be in this cell for a while and talking to a wall is not exactly a bliss filled heaven now is it?" He replied with a glare.

You shifted a little and stepped back up to the glass.

"You won't try to hit on me will you?" You asked.

"Oh please, to your relief I'm happily locked in another women's heart." He replied, you smiled at this and blushed.

"What?" He asked clearly noticing your flustered behavior.

"N-nothing" you replied and backed up, his gaze was still locked on you and he seemed to have annoyance in his eyes.

"Now go on then what's your name." He asked more like demanding.

"Uhhhh... Tricks." You replied in a panicked tone.

"No it's not," he replied. As if he could see right threw you.

" well fine if you don't believe me then my name shouldn't matter anyway." You said in a frustrated tone, he was making it exceedingly difficult to be a different person.

"What's you name?" You asked looking back up at him threw the glass.

"John." He replied.

You laughed, "no it's not."

"What makes you figure that?" He looked up a little taken back.

"John Harrison didn't exist tell a year ago, you hardly look like a 1 year old." You replied sternly.

"Khan, Khan Noonien Singh" he replied, still showing less emotion then a trash can.

"Lovely name, but Iv heard it before."
You replied.

He looked up at you again a little shocked.
"How?"

" it's an old story, I'll tell you another time." You replied.

Man you really liked this playing hard to get thing.

"So why exactly did they put you in the brig? What kind of criminal are you."
You asked, you had no knowledge of his exact actions.

"I made a trade, a life for some lives and now I am here."
He replied still expressionless but yet stern and focused.

"Oh, alright."
You replied.

"You remind me of someone." He suddenly said, his gaze dropped to the floor and his features seemed to fade into sorrow.

"Is that a bad thing?" You asked knowing who he was talking about.

"No, just, She was very, very dear to me, and I let her down. I let everyone down, and I need to fix it, if not with them then with her, at least her." He replied a little softer the voice then he had started with.

"Oh.... Who was she? A-a sister or something?" You asked even if you knew the answer.

"No, she's my girlfriend." He replied.
In a signing voice.

"W-What happend to her?"

"She's frozen in the past right now, as we speak she has no knowledge of the current year, her current emotions, her life.
I tried to save her, I tried to save all of them. But I couldn't... " he replied again in a bitter state.

You almost let a tear slip, you didn't know he was so guilt filled.

"S-she I mean I'm sure she forgives you." You tryed to comfort him.

"No, she never will, never would." He replied.

"Well-"
"No, please don't there's nothing you can say or do that will make me feel better about losing her." He replied as he motioned a hand for you to stop and stood up..

"I'll get her back one day, I promised her that."
